But only on the condition that these persons have received the necessary instructions on how to use this appliance in a safe way and that they know the dangers that can occur by using this appliance. Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance. Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance may not be done by children, unless they are older than 8 years old and are under supervision. Keep the appliance out of reach of children younger than 8 years old. This appliance is suitable to be used in a household environment and in similar surroundings such as:

• Hotel or motel rooms and other surroundings with a residential character

• Do not put the plug in the socket if the unit is not fully assembled.

• Do not put the blender into boiling liquid. Allow soup to cool for a while before blending it, for example.

1. Attach the blender attachment to the main body, until it locks into place.

2. To remove the blender attachment, press the buttons on both sides to release it. Do

not grasp the blades!

3. Place the blender in a bowl or measuring jug with ingredients in it, and switch on

the blender. Please note! Never operate the blender for longer than 1 minute uninterrupted. Please note! Never use the blender in an empty bowl or measuring jug.

4. Always place the blender vertically in the bowl or measuring jug holding the

ingredients (not at an angle). 22DO9026M CLEANING

• Remove the plug from the socket before cleaning the appliance.

• Clean the main body with a damp cloth. NEVER immerse the main body with the motor unit in water!

• The blender attachment can be washed in hot water. Be careful so that you do not cut yourself on the blades.

• If you blend colourful food, this may stain the blender. Rub vegetable oil on the plastic parts before cleaning them. 23DO9026M
