Safety instructions Please review the safety instructions in this manual carefully, before you use the blender for the rst time. This blender is suited for domestic use only. Please check rst, before you use the appliance, whether the voltage indicated on the information plate of the appliance matches the voltage in your home. The knifes are sharp. Be very careful when you touch them. The machine will operate only when the jug is mounted on the motor case. Ensure that the jug assembly is correct and is placed on the motor case with the lid on, before switching on the blender. Never use the blender when the glass jug is empty. Do not disassemble the blender when the plug is still in the wall socket. Never immerse the blender, the electrical cord or the motor case in water or other liquids. Always let hot liquids cool before pouring them into the blender. This appliance meets the applicable general safety standards. Repairs may only be done by a competent tradesman. Poorly done repairs may lead to personal injury or damage to the appliance. Do not use the machine when it is malfunctioning or when the glass jug is empty. Do not use the machine when the electrical cord is damaged. Bring the blender to the distributor, manufacturer after sales service or a recognized service outlet for inspection or repair. After every use turn the appliance to the ‘0’ position on the dial and remove the plug from the wall socket. Never immerse the motor case in water or any other liquids. Clean with a moist cloth. Never immerse the glass jug in water or in any other liquid. Do not put our in the blender. This appliance must not be used by people (including children) with limited physical, motor or mental limitations or those with insufcient experience or knowledge unless they are supervised or have received the necessary instructions for using the machine by persons responsible for their safety. Components 1.Measuring beaker 2.Lid 3.Glass jug 4.Motor case 5.Speed control dial 6.Knifes Before the first use Check before you use the appliance whether the voltage indicated on the information plate of the appliance corresponds to the voltage in your home. Clean the glass jug, lid and measuring cup. Try to assemble and disassemble the blender few times before the rst use. Disassembly and assembly Turn the speed control dial to the ‘0’ position. Remove the glass jug from the motor case. Remove the measuring cup from the lid and then remove the lid. Place the glass jug on the motor case and turn the jug until it is positioned securely. Place the lid on the glass jug and place the measuring cup in the lid. Use Place the food to be mixed in the glass jug. Place the lid on the glass jug and place the glass jug on the motor case. Place the measuring cup in the lid. Turn the speed control dial to the ‘1’ or ‘2’ position. ‘1’ is for light liquids and ‘2’ for thicker liquids and solid foods. With the ‘Pulse’ position you can blend with short, controlled pulses. Turn the dial to the ‘Pulse’ position and hold the button down. Release the button to proceed to the ‘0’ position.

Knife assembly Removal of the knifes REMOVE THE KNIFES ONLY WHEN ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY! Remove the knifes from the jug by turning the bottom part of the jug (threaded ring) in a counter clockwise direction. Place the whole on a at surface to facilitate the removal. Place a thick cloth over the knifes and pull them out straight. The knifes are very sharp. Be extremely careful when you touch them. To replace the knifes When you place the threaded ring and the knifes on the jug, ensure that the level sides of the knifes are placed equally with the level sides of the opening of the jug. Turn the white threaded ring clockwise onto the jug until secure. IMPORTANT: if the knifes are not installed correctly, the appliance will produce more noise. Cleaning Jug Empty out the jug and ll it with water. Place the jug on the motor case and turn the dial several times to the ‘Pulse’ position (hold the dial). Empty out the jug and repeat this process until the jug is clean. Knifes Clean the surface of the knifes with clean soapy water. Do not let the knifes soak or use scrubbing materials. If necessary, you may use a soft brush to remove any remaining material. Rinse the knifes under streaming water and dry them with a clean cloth. Do not wash the underside of the knife component with water or any other liquid. Do not place the knifes in the dishwasher. IMPORTANT If you clean the jug, without removing the knifes, dry them thoroughly or place the jug on its side to dry.
