USER MANUAL CI52W0 REMINGTON

ENGLISH Thank you for buying your new Remington® product.

Before use, please read these instructions carefully and keep them safe. Remove all packaging

1 The appliance, including its cord, must not be used, played with, cleaned or maintained

by persons under eight years old and should at all times be kept out of their reach.

Use, cleaning or maintenance of the appliance by children over eight or by anyone with a

8 Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctions.

9 If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or

someone similarly qualied, in order to avoid hazard.

10 This appliance is not intended for commercial or salon use

11 Let the appliance cool down before cleaning and storing away.

F INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1 Before use, ensure the hair is clean, dry and tangle-free.

2 For extra protection use a heat protection spray.

* Hair sprays contain ammable material – do not use while using the styler.

3 Section the hair prior to styling. Style the lower layers rst.

4 Plug in the styler and slide switch to turn on.

5 Start styling on lower temperatures rst. Select appropriate temperature for your hair

type using the controls on the side of the styler.

TEMPERATURE WHEEL SETTINGS:

130 = Lowest temperature

200 = Maximum temperature

6 The on-indicator will ash whilst the styler is heating up and glow when styler is ready

to use – this will be about 30 seconds

7 Use the heat protection glove to avoid accidental burns.

8 Hold the handle and wrap the hair around the heated barrel.

9 Wait about 10 seconds for curl to form.

10 Unwind the hair and release the curl.

11 Let the hair to cool before styling

12 Repeat this around the head to create as many curls as desired.

13 When nished o slide the switch down to turn o and unplug the appliance.

C CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE Unplug the appliance and let it cool.

Wipe all surfaces with a damp cloth.

Don’t use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.

H ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION To avoid environmental and health problems due to hazardous substances in electrical and

electronic goods, appliances marked with this symbol must not be disposed of

with unsorted municipal waste, but recovered,

ENGLISH E SERVICE AND GUARANTEE This product has been checked and is free of defects.

We guarantee this product against any defects that are due to faulty material or

workmanship for the guarantee period from the original date of consumer purchase.
