Before use, please read these instructions carefully and keep them safe. Remove all packaging before use.

SAFETY CAUTIONS

1 The appliance, including its cord, must not be used, played with, cleaned or maintained by persons under eight years old and should at all times be kept out of their reach. Use, cleaning or maintenance of the appliance by children over eight or by anyone with a lack of knowledge, experience or with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities should only be undertaken after receiving appropriate instruction and under the adequate supervision of a responsible adult to ensure that they do so safely and that the hazards involved are understood and avoided.
2 Do not put the appliance in liquid; do not use it near water in a bath-tub, basin or other vessel; and don't use it outdoors.
3 Keep the hot styling barrel away from the skin.
4 Do not leave the appliance unattended while plugged in.
5 Only set the appliance down on a heat-proof surface.
6 Do not use attachments other than those we supply.
7 Do not twist or kink the cable, or wrap it round the appliance.

8 Do not use the appliance if it is damaged or malfunctions.
9 If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or someone similarly qualified, in order to avoid hazard.
10 This appliance is not intended for commercial or salon use
11 Let the appliance cool down before cleaning and storing away.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1 Before use, ensure the hair is clean, dry and tangle-free.
2 For extra protection use a heat protection spray.
* Hair sprays contain flammable material – do not use while using the styler.
3 Section the hair prior to styling. Style the lower layers first.
4 Plug in the styler and slide switch to turn on.
5 Start styling on lower temperatures first. Select appropriate temperature for your hair type using the controls on the side of the styler.

TEMPERATURE WHEEL SETTINGS:

6 The on-indicator will flash whilst the stylist is heating up and glow when stylist is ready to use – this will be about 30 seconds

7 Use the heat protection glove to avoid accidental burns.

8 Hold the handle and wrap the hair around the heated barrel.

9 Wait about 10 seconds for curl to form.

10 Unwind the hair and release the curl.
11 Let the hair to cool before styling
12 Repeat this around the head to create as many curls as desired.
13 When finished off slide the switch down to turn off and unplug the appliance.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Unplug the appliance and let it cool.

Wipe all surfaces with a damp cloth.

Don't use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents or solvents.

electronic goods, appliances marked with this symbol must not be disposed of with unsorted municipal waste, but recovered,

reused or recycled.

This product has been checked and is free of defects.

We guarantee this product against any defects that are due to faulty material or workmanship for the guarantee period from the original date of consumer purchase.

If the product should become defective within the guarantee period, we will repair any such defect or elect to replace the product or any part of it without charge, provided there is proof of purchase.

This does not mean an extension of the guarantee period.

In the case of a guarantee simply call the Service Centre in your region.

This guarantee is offered over and above your normal statutory rights.

The guarantee shall apply in all countries in which our product was sold via an authorised dealer.

This guarantee does not include damage to the product by accident or misuse, abuse, alteration to the product or use inconsistent with the technical and/or safety instructions required.

This guarantee shall not apply if the product has been dismantled or repaired by a person not authorised by us.

If you ring the Service Centre, please have the Model No. to hand, as we won't be able to help you without it.
