OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR MASSAGER Dear customer, IMETEC thanks you for having purchased this product. We are certain you will appreciate the

quality and reliability of this appliance, designed and produced with client satisfaction in mind. This instructions

manual has been drawn up in compliance with the European Standard EN 62079.

Instructions and warnings for a safe use

Please read the instructions on use and safety before using the appliance and follow

these at all times. Keep this manual and illustrative guide with the appliance for future

consultation. In case you pass the appliance on to another user, make sure to also

include this documentation.

Should certain parts of this booklet result difficult to understand or should doubts

• Remove the packaging. Check the device and the accessories against the drawing and make sure

these were not damaged in any way during transport. If in doubt, do not use the device and contact

the authorised assistance service.

• Do not let children play with the packaging! Keep the plastic wrapping out of the reach of children;

risk of suffocation!

• Before connecting the device to the mains, check the network voltage is the same as the voltage

rating stated on the identification plate. The identification plate is found on the appliance power

• This appliance must be used only for the purpose for which it was designed, that is as a massager

for home use. Any other use is improper and potentially dangerous.

• The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensorial or

mental abilities, or lacking experience or knowledge, unless supervised by a person responsible

for their safety, supervision or after having received instructions regarding the use of the appliance.

Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

• DO NOT touch the device with damp or wet hands or feet.

• DO NOT pull on the cord or device to unplug the latter from the mains socket.

• DO NOT expose the appliance to humidity or weather conditions (rain, sun).

• Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or maintenance and when

the appliance is not in use.

• In case of fault or malfunctioning of the appliance, switch it off and do not tamper with it. If the

device needs to be repaired, contact an authorized technical assistance centre.

• If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a cable or special unit available at authorised

Technical Assistance Centres.

• If the power cable is damaged it must be replaced by a technical after-sales service centre, so as

to prevent all risks.

• Never submerge the appliance in water or other liquids.

• Do not use the product under blankets or pillows or in combination with electric blankets and /or

electric heating pads.

• Avoid contact with pointed or sharp objects which can damage the appliance.

• Do not crush the product, do not fold it and do not use it outdoors.

• If doubtful for health reasons, seek Doctor’s advice before use. Above all in the event of:

a) blood circulation problems or reduced skin sensitivity;

b) presence of serious illness or following an operation;

c) presence of colds with fever, varicose veins, thrombosis, vein inflammation, jaundice, diabetes,

nerve related illnesses (such as sciatica), tuberculosis, tumours, haemorrhoids, bruises or acute

• Unpack the product.

• Check that it is integral and undamaged.

• The massager pillow is supplied with Velcro securing straps making it possible to adapt it to the majority of

chairs available on the market. Pass the two straps (3) behind the chair back and secure them to each other

using the Velcro. If you prefer, simply rest the massager pillow on your chair or armchair.

• Connect the transformer to the massager pillow: insert connector (4) into connector socket.

• Connect the mains power supply (5) to the domestic mains.

The massager pillow is unsuitable for use in a car.

Never stand up on the appliance.

USE Press the POWER button (6) once to turn the massager pillow on.

Two types of massage can be selected:

• Press the button again to change the rotation direction of the massage.

• To stop press the corresponding button again.

STONE vibration massage

• Select the STONE MASSAGE LEFT button to activate the massage on the left side of the pillow, or else

STONE MASSAGE RIGHT to activate the massage on the right side of the pillow, or else both of them.

• Press the STONE button to activate the vibration massage. The pillow will vibrate at minimum level and the

LED next to the letter (L) (Low vibrating level) will switch on. To increase intensity to (M) (Medium vibrating

level), press the button again and the corresponding LED will switch on. Finally, to pass to (H) (High vibrating

level) and press the button again.

• To deactivate the massage press the STONE button after the (H) High level again.

HEAT: heating function.

• Press the HEAT button to activate heat during the massage. The light of the massager will change from blue

• Press it again to deactivate it.

• Press POWER again to turn the massager pillow off.

• After 15 minutes of treatment it is advisable to rest for at least 20 minutes.

• Disconnect the plug after use.

AUTOMATIC SHUTDOWN The massager pillow turns itself off automatically after 15 minutes.

This function does not replace the normal turning off of the product, which must be off when not in use.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE Always disconnect the appliance from the mains supply before cleaning or maintenance and when the

appliance is not in use.

The massager can be cleaned with a soft slightly damp cloth. It is also possible to use a light detergent.

Keep the massager out of children’s reach in a cool dry place. Keep it in the original packaging. Avoid contact

with pointed or sharp objects which can damage the appliance.

does not work, follow the solutions.

DISPOSAL The product packaging consists of recyclable materials. Dispose of it in compliance with the

environmental protection standards.

The product must be disposed of properly, in accordance with the provisions of European standard

2002/96/EC. The device is made of recyclable materials that can be re-used to avoid environmental

pollution. For further information, contact the local disposal body or the appliance dealer.
