Guarantee
We will remedy any faults due to material flaws or manufacturing faults free of charge within the guarantee period of two years.
For commercial or equivalent use, e.g. in hotels, guest houses or communal premises, or if the customer is not a consumer as defined by the German Civil Code, the guarantee period shall be six months. This does not infringe the warranty disclaimer.
The guarantee does not cover faults caused in particular by improper use, failure to observe instructions in the user manual and safety precautions, use of force, modifications, unauthorised attempted repairs and attempted repairs by unqualified third parties. Faults caused by normal wear are also excluded.

This appliance is intended primarily for non-commercial use on hard floors, wall-to-wall carpeting or upholstered furniture in closed rooms for suction of dry domestic dirt and dust. Any use other than previously stated is considered as improper use.

Safety instructions
Inspect the appliance for visible signs of damage before use. Do not use a damaged appliance.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with restricted physical, sensory or mental capabilities or with insufficient experience and/or knowledge unless they are supervised by a person responsible for their safety or have received instructions on the use of the appliance from such a person.
Cleaning and caring for the appliance such as emptying and cleaning the dust container and filter element may not be performed by children who are not under supervision.
Store the appliance and accessory parts out of the reach of children.
Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance unattended during operation. Children under the age of 8 years may not touch the appliance or its connecting cable when it is switched on or when it is cooling down.
Repairs to the appliance must only be carried out by an authorised specialist or by the works customer service. This particularly applies to replacing a damaged connection cable. Unqualified repairs can lead to considerable danger for the user. They will also invalidate the guarantee.
Defective parts may only be replaced with original spare parts. Only original spare parts guarantee that the safety requirements are met.
Only use spare parts from the manufacturer or spare parts that are specifically recommended by the manufacturer. The guarantee will otherwise be invalidated.
Do not use this charging station to-gether with an external timer or a separate remote control system.

DANGER
Danger from electric current!
Do not use the charging station if the mains cable or mains plug is damaged.
Never open the housing of the hand vacuum cleaner, the charging station or the power adapter. Danger from electric current if live connections are touched and/or the electrical and mechanical configuration is changed.
Never immerse the appliance the charging station or the power adapter in water or other fluids.
Pull the power adapter out of the mains socket,
if you are not using the charging - station,
if a malfunction occurs during operation,
before you clean the charging station.
Risk of suffocation!
Never play with packaging material. Risk of suffocation.

WARNING
Do not vacuum potentially inflammable or explosive substances, dust or gases and do not vacuum locations where such substances are stored.
Do not vacuum burning or smoldering objects such as cigarettes or apparently extinguished ash or coal.
Do not point the appliance near to the head when vacuuming.

WARNING
Keep hair, jewellery, loose clothing, fingers and other body parts away from the suction nozzle.
Before use, check that the appliance and/or attached accessories are not damaged.
When used for a longer period of time, the appliance can become hot. Allow the appliance to cool down before storing it or carrying out work on the appliance.
Before working on the appliance and the accessories, switch off the vacuum cleaner.
Risk of fire, explosion and injury from improper handling of the rechargeable batteries!
Do not open or short-circuit the rechargeable batteries, throw them into fire or immerse in fluids.
Only charge the batteries with the charging station supplied. Risk of fire, explosion or acid burning if a wrong charging appliance is used.
Battery acid can leak out of a damaged battery. If one of the rechargeable batteries is leaking, avoid contact of the battery fluid with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes. In the event of contact with battery acid, rinse the areas concerned with plenty of clear water and consult a doctor immediately.
the rechargeable battery is damaged or mishandled, vapour can escape. Provide fresh air and consult a doctor in the event of discomfort. Vapours can irritate the respiratory tract.
ATTENTION
Do not operate the appliance without the filter element or dust container.
Empty the dust container each time after vacuuming.
Do not vacuum fine dust such as toner, soot, ash or similar substances that could lead to blockages in the filter element. This could lead to overheating of the appliance when operating for a longer period of time.
Do not leave the appliance out- side and do not expose it to direct sunlight or humidity. Do not store the appliance in the immediate vicinity of heat sources (such as fire, radiators, fan heaters or other heat radiating appliances).
Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the appliance.
Do not use cleaning agents to clean the filter element.
Do not clean appliance parts in a dishwasher or washing appliance.
Never lift or move the charging sta- tion with the mains cable.
Do not vacuum fluids with the appliance.
ATTENTION
Check or clean the filter element at regular intervals (at least every 3 to 6 months). A blocked filter element reduces the suction performance of the appliance. In addition, this could lead to overheating of the appliance when operating for a longer period of time.
Do not put a wet or damp filter element into the appliance.
Requirements for the place of use of the charging station
For safe and trouble-free operation of the appliance, the place of operation must satisfy the following requirements:
Place the charging station on a firm dry, flat, waterproof and heat-resistant surface or use the wall-mounting option.
- Do not operate the charging station in a hot, wet or very humid environment.
The mains socket must be easily accessible and allow fast disconnection in the event of an emergency.
Electrical connection of the charging station
For safe and trouble-free operation of the charging station, the following instructions on the electrical connection must be observed:
Before connecting the appliance, compare the connection data (voltage and frequency) on the rating plate with those of your mains power supply. The data must correspond in order to avoid damage to the appliance. If in doubt, ask your electrical appliance retailer. The mains socket must be protected by at least a 10 A automatic circuit breaker.
Ensure that the mains cable is undamaged and is not laid over sharp edges. The mains cable must not be pulled tightly, bent or come into contact with hot surfaces.
Route the mains cable to prevent risk of tripping.
The electrical safety of the appliance is only assured when it is connected to a properly installed protective earth (PE) conductor system. Connection to a mains socket without PE conductor is forbidden. If in doubt, the electrical system must be checked by a qualified electrician. The manufacturer assumes no liability for injury or damage caused by a missing or interrupted protective earth conductor.
Startup
Unpacking
Remove the appliance, all accessory parts and the user manual from the box.
Remove all packaging materials and protective foils from the product and the accessories before using it for the first time.
NOTE
Do not remove the rating plate or any warning signs on the appliance. If possible, keep the original packaging during the guarantee period in order to be able to pack the appliance properly in the event of a guarantee claim. Transport damage will invalidate the guarantee.
Check the delivery contents
Check for visible signs of damage or missing items.
Report incomplete or damaged contents to your supplier immediately.

Preparation
Fixing the charging station to the wall (image D1)
To fix the charging station (8) to a wall, proceed as follows:
Drill two holes with the prescribed gap under each other (image D1).
Insert the supplied dowels into the holes in the wall.
Screw the charging station (8) firmly onto the wall with the screws supplied (image D1).
NOTE
You can also put the charging station (8) onto a horizontal surface.
Before drilling the holes, make sure you do not damage possible water pipes and cables.
Charging the battery (image A1)
To charge the battery of the appliance, proceed as follows:
Switch off the hand vacuum cleaner.
Insert the power adapter of the charging station into the mains socket.
Place the hand vacuum cleaner into the charging station so that it snaps into the charging station (image A1).
Charging begins and the charging control indicator (9) lights up.
Charging is completed when the charging control indicator (9) extinguishes and the hand vacuum cleaner is ready for operation.
Pull the power adapter out of the mains socket,
NOTE
When charging the battery of the hand vacuum cleaner for the first time, make sure it is connected for at least 12 hours.
Operation and use
Using the appliance
Charge the battery as described in the section Charging the battery (page 22).
Select the desired nozzle. The joint nozzle (7) is inserted directly into the joint socket (5). The textile brush is inserted into the joint nozzle before it is inserted into the nozzle socket.
Push the ON/OFF switch (11) to the "ON" position to switch on the hand vacuum cleaner.
Switching off the appliance
Push the ON/OFF switch (11) to the "OFF" position to switch off the hand vacuum cleaner.
Emptying the dust container (image B1)
To empty the dust container (4), proceed as follows:
Switch off the appliance.
Press the release button for the dust container (10) and pull the dust container off the hand vacuum cleaner (image B1).
Empty the dust container.
If necessary, clean the dust container as described in the section Cleaning the dust container (page 11).
push the dust container onto the drive unit until it audibly snaps in.

Cleaning the appliance
ull the power adapter of the charging station out of the mains socket,
Use a slightly moist cloth to wipe off the housing of the hand vacuum cleaner, the charging station and the accessory parts.
Cleaning the dust container (image B2)
Check the dust container (4) after emptying each time, however at least every 3 to 6 months. If you detect dirt, clean the dust container as follows:
Switch off the appliance.
Press the release button button for the dust container (10) and pull the dust container off the hand vacuum cleaner.
Empty the dust container (4).
The dust container can be cleaned under running water (image B2).
Dry off the dust container.
Push the dust container onto the drive unit until it audibly snaps in.
Cleaning the filter element (images C1-C5)
The filter element (3) removes very fine particles before the air is blown out of the appliance.
Check the filter element every
3 to 6 months. If dirt is detected during checking, clean the filter element.
Proceed as follows:
Turn the filter lid (2) in a direction and remove the filter cover (images C3/C4).
Pull the filter element (3) from the socket (image C5).
Clean the filter element with a brush. Vacuum stubborn dirt in the filter element with a different vacuum cleaner.
The filter element can be rinsed with water (max. 40^ ) (image C1).
Allow the filter element to dry in the air for 24 hours and insert it again only when it is completely dry.
Clean the filter lid with water (image C2) and dry it.
Insert the filter element into the socket.
Insert the filter lid in
0^ position onto the drive unit and lock the filter unit by turning it in a ±b direction (image C3/C4).
Storage
If you do not intend to use the appliance for a longer period of time, clean it as described in the section Cleaning and care Cleaning and care (page 22).
Push the joint and textile burst (6/7) together and then put them both onto the socket of the charging station (12).
Put the hand vacuum cleaner into the charging station.
Store the appliance and all accessory parts at a dry, clean and frost-free location, which is protected against direct sunlight.
