How to install the projector?

Place the projector on a flat surface, at 90° to the screen. Use the adjustable feet to adjust tilt. For ceiling mounting, use an Optoma kit with M4x10 mm screws. Leave 30 cm around the ventilation vents.

How to clean the lens?

Turn off the projector and unplug it. Use compressed air to remove dust, then a special lens cloth. Do not use alkaline, acidic, or volatile solvents like alcohol. Do not touch the lens with fingers.

The remote control does not work, what to do?

Check that the batteries are inserted correctly (CR2025, + side up). Make sure there are no obstacles between the remote and the projector, and that you are within 6 meters and within an angle of ±15° to the IR receiver. Replace the batteries if necessary.

How to activate 3D mode?

Use DLP-Link glasses. In the OSD menu, go to Image > 3D and set 3D Mode to On. Select the appropriate 3D format (frame packing, side-by-side, top-and-bottom). The input signal must be at 60 Hz and the resolution 1920x1080 is recommended.

How to correct a distorted image?

Use automatic or manual keystone correction in the Display > Geometric Correction menu. You can adjust vertical and horizontal keystone (±40°), or use four-corner adjustment for precise correction. Note that the image size will be slightly reduced.

How to adjust image sharpness?

Turn the focus ring on the lens until the image is sharp. In the OSD menu (Image > Sharpness), you can fine-tune the sharpness level (1 to 15). For size, use the zoom lever.

What is the lifespan of the light source?

The projector uses a laser light source. The manual does not provide a precise lifespan, but Optoma DLP lasers generally offer more than 20,000 hours in standard mode. The projector automatically detects the light source lifespan.

Can I use the projector at high altitude?

Yes. In the Configuration > High Altitude menu, set it to On. This will spin the fans faster to compensate for thin air and prevent overheating.

How to reset to factory settings?

Go to the Configuration > Reset Device menu. You can choose Reset Menu (OSD settings) or Reset All Settings (everything). Select Yes to confirm.

What screen formats are available?

In the Display > Screen Type menu, you can choose 4:3, 16:9, or 16:10. The aspect ratio can be set to 4:3, 16:9, 16:10, Native, or Auto. The projector adapts automatically to the source if Auto is selected.
