Frequently Asked Questions - Ninebot KickScooter F2 Pro SEGWAY

How to activate my Ninebot KickScooter F2 Pro?
You need to install the Segway-Ninebot app, create an account, then follow the instructions to activate the scooter. Activation is required to unlock certain features and receive firmware updates.
What is the actual battery range?
The typical range is approximately 45 km (28 miles) under normal conditions (75 kg load, 25°C, maximum speed on flat road). The theoretical range reaches 55 km but may vary depending on weight, temperature, riding style, and number of stops/starts.
How to change the speed mode?
Turn on the scooter, then double-click the power button to switch between ECO (15 km/h), D (25 km/h), and S (32 km/h) modes. S mode can be adjusted via the app. Parking mode (P) activates at startup if the startup speed is set to 0; press the brake or accelerate above 3 km/h to exit it.
Can the scooter be folded for storage?
Yes, the folding mechanism allows folding the handlebar forward. Unlock the quick-release lever, fold the stem, then lock the protection. Folded dimensions are approximately 1158 × 570 × 529 mm.
How to maintain the tires?
Maintain a pressure of 42-48 psi. Visually check for wear, cracks, or deformation every 3 months. The tires are tubeless self-sealing: in case of a puncture, they partially reseal. Replace them if the tread is too worn.
What does the red light on the battery mean?
When the first battery bar turns red, it indicates a very low level. Recharge the battery immediately to avoid deep discharge. Use the original charger (42 V, 1,7 A). Full charging time is approximately 8 hours.
How to activate the cruise control?
First enable the option in the Segway-Ninebot app. Then, ride above 5 km/h and hold the accelerator for more than 5 seconds; a long beep confirms activation. Release the accelerator to maintain speed, then brake or accelerate to deactivate.
What are common error codes?
Error codes are displayed on the speedometer. Examples: E1 (battery problem), E2 (motor problem), E3 (brake fault). Check the app for exact meaning and solutions. If the code persists, contact after-sales service.
How to clean the scooter?
Use a soft damp cloth to wipe the frame. Avoid high-pressure water jets. Do not clean the dashboard with abrasive products. The IPX5 rating protects against water splashes but not immersion. Store in a dry place.
Where to find spare parts?
Spare parts (battery, tires, brakes, etc.) are available from Segway-Ninebot customer service or authorized dealers. The battery must be replaced after 500 cycles or 10 000 km. Use only original parts to ensure safety and compliance.
