USER MANUAL LA180208 LANAFORM
& Please read all the instruc- tions before using your elec- tric hot water bottle, especial- ly this basic safety information.
Always follow these instruc- tions when using this appliance. Check that your mains voltage is the same as that of your de- vice. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with re- duced physical, sensory or men- tal capabilities or lack of expe- rience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards in- volved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without super- vision. Do not use accessories other than those recommended
by LANAFORM or accessories which are not supplied with this device. The electrical hot water bottle must be used with the charger supplied in its packag- ing. Do not connect or discon- nect the plug of the device with wet hands. Ifthe power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by a special lead or similar lead available from the supplier or its after-sales department. Check the electrical hot water bottle regularly. Do not use this device ifthe plug is damaged, ifitis not working properly, if it has been dropped on the floor, orifitis damaged or has fallen into wa- ter. In this event, have the device examined and repaired by the supplier orits after-sales depart- ment. fit falls into water, unplug itimmediately before retrieving it. Check that the electrical hot

Excessive heat can cause fire, electrocution or injury. Take all necessary precautions to avoid burns. Handle the electrical hot water bottle with care. The inter- nal temperature may reach in fact 75°C and 60°C on its surface once charged. If necessary, you may wait until the temperature drops before using the electri- cal hot water bottle. Please re- move the charger and do not use the electrical hot water bottle if you hear an unusual noise or notice an unusual smell as well as a leak from the electrical hot water bottle. To make sure the heat is evenly spread, you are advised to shake the electrical hot water bottle gently after 5-6 minutes when charging it. Electri- cal appliances should never be left unattended when connect- ed. Unplug it when you are not using it. Keep the power cable
away from hot surfaces. Always unplug the device after use or before cleaning it. Do not in- sert any object into the electri- cal hot water bottle. This could impair its operation. Do not hit or cut the surface of the hot wa- ter bottle. Do not exert too much pressure on the electrical hot water bottle when you are us- ing it as this may cause the de- vice to leak a leak or damage to it. Disconnect the electrical hot water bottle if it overheats. If the electrical hot water bot- tle does not automatically stop charging after 15 minutes (the light remains on), disconnect the charger plug. Do not move the electrical hot-water bottle using the charger's power ca- ble. Before storing the electri- cal hot water bottle, make sure its temperature has dropped back down. Do not crush the electrical hot water bottle by putting items on top of it once it is been stored. The electrical hot water bottle is intended for domestic use only. Do not use it in a hospital environment or for any kind of medical treatment. The electrical hot water bottle is
not intended to be used by chil- dren. Do not use the electrical hot water bottle on people who are sick, on babies or on those insensitive to heat. Do not use the electrical hot water bottle to warm up your feet. You must not walk on the electrical hot water bottle, crush it or exert pressure on it. Do not use the electrical hot water bottle in a microwave or conventional oven. Your are advised not to let the electri- cal hot water bottle come into direct contact with your skin. ff, when using the electrical hot water bottle, you notice unusu- al red marks appearing on your skin, or even discomfort or pain, stop using it for at least an hour. If the problem persists, do not continue using the hot water bottle and, if necessary, consult your doctor immediately. Nev- er use this appliance in a room in which aerosols (sprays) are used or in a room where oxy- gen is administered.

The body of the electrical hot water bottle is pliable and very comfortable.
The walls consist of 4 thin, thermo-compressed film layers, increasing its durability and safety.
With the technology it has, the electrical hot water bottle has a faster heating system, there- fore heat is maintained for longer.
Instructions for use
When you have removed the product from its packaging, check the integrity of the device and that of the components supplied with it. If in doubit, do not use the product and con- tactthe product's dealer. Do not use the prod- uct ifthere are signs of defects and return it to your dealer.
Charging the electrical hot water bottle
01 Lay the electrical hot water bot- tle down flat on atable.
02 Insert it into the charger as shown on the diagram & 1. Connect the charger plug to the socket. The light comes on and the electrical hot water bottle heats up.
03 Once the electrical hot water bottle reaches an internal temperature of 75°C, the light goes out and you can disconnect the charger. You can then use the electrical hot water bottle.
Of you want the electrical hot water bottle to stay hot for longer, squeeze the electrical hot water bottle to mix the water, wait for a few minutes and then continue charging it.
©lIttakes about 10 minutes to charge the elec- trical hot water bottle (depending on the ambient temperature) so that the surface
ofthe electrical hot water bottle reaches a temperature of +60°C.
Maintenance and cleaning
Putthe electrical hot water bottle in its box or in a dry place
Avoid contact with sharp edges and other pointed objects, which might cut or pierce the fabric surface.
To prevent the power cable breaking at any point, do not wind it round the latter.
Make sure thatthe electrical hot water bottle is completely dry before storing it.
Unplug the electrical hot water bottle from
the charger plug and wait a few minutes be-
fore cleaning it. Clean it using a soft, slightly damp sponge. Do not immerse it in liquid to cleanit.
Never use abrasive detergents, brushes or a thinning agent to clean it.

Allthe packaging is composed of materials that pose no hazard for the environment and
which can be disposed of at your local sorting centre to be used as secondary raw materials. The cardboard may be disposed of in a paper
recycling bin. The packaging film must be tak-
en to your local sorting and recycling centre.
When you have finished using the device, please dispose ofit in an environmentally friendly way and in accordance with the law.
Limited warranty LANAFORM guarantees this product against
any material or manufacturing defect for a pe-
riod of two years from the date of purchase, except in the circumstances described below.
The LANAFORM guarantee does not cover damage caused as a result of normal wear to
this product. In addition, the guarantee cov-
ering this LANAFORM product does not cover damage caused by abusive or inappropriate
or incorrect use, accidents, the use of unau-
thorized accessories, changes made to the
product or any other circumstance, of what-
ever sort, that is outside LANAFORM' control.
LANAFORM may not be held liable for anytype of circumstantial, indirect or specific damage.
All implicit guarantees relating to the suita-
bility of the product are limited to a period of two years from the initial date of purchase as long as a copy ofthe proof of purchase can be supplied.
On receipt, LANAFORM will repair or replace your appliance atits discretion and will return itto you. The guarantee is only valid through LANAFORM' Service Centre. Any attemptto maintain this product by a person other than LANAFORM's Service Centre will render this guarantee void.
