Frequently Asked Questions - CYCLONIC-S10 VALBERG

How to charge the vacuum cleaner battery?
Insert the charger into the charging port of the vacuum, then plug the charger into a wall outlet. The first charge takes approximately 6 hours, subsequent charges up to 3 hours. The LED indicators show the charge level.
What is the vacuum's runtime?
In low mode, the runtime is 48 minutes as a stick vacuum. In high mode, it is reduced to 10 minutes for the handheld vacuum.
How to clean the HEPA filter?
Remove the HEPA filter cover by turning it counterclockwise. Take out the filter and clean it with clear water. Let it dry completely in the air before putting it back. Never use a damp filter.
Why is suction weak?
Possible causes are: a full dust container, a clogged filter, or a blocked nozzle. Empty the container, clean the filter, and remove blockages. If the problem persists, replace the HEPA filter.
What to do if the brush does not rotate?
The brush is likely obstructed by hair or debris. Cut the tangles with scissors, then remove the brush to clean it. Make sure it rotates freely before putting it back.
How to empty the dust container?
Press the lever to unlock the base of the container and empty it. For a thorough cleaning, press the release button, remove the container, then clean the foam filter. Let it dry before reassembling.
Can I use the vacuum on hardwood floors?
Yes, use the powerful rotating brush for hard, smooth surfaces like hardwood. It is designed not to scratch delicate floors. Avoid the floor brush with bristles on fragile surfaces.

How to check the battery level of the VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 stick vacuum?
Frequently Asked Questions - 25 j
Response Notice-Facile

The VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 stick vacuum features a built-in LED indicator system that allows you to check the battery level at any time. To check the battery status, simply press the power button without activating the suction: the LED indicators will light up and immediately show you the remaining charge percentage.

Here’s how to interpret the battery LED indicators:

  • 1 blinking light: low battery - recharge the vacuum as soon as possible
  • 1 steady light: battery at 50% charge
  • 1 steady light + 1 blinking: battery at 50% charge and currently charging
  • 2 steady lights: battery charged to 100% (the lights will automatically turn off after about 10 minutes if you are not using the device)

In stick mode, you can anticipate the remaining runtime based on the selected power level: in slow mode, the maximum runtime is 48 minutes with a full battery. This runtime will be shorter in medium or fast modes. The device will automatically alert you by stopping its operation when the charge level becomes insufficient to maintain operation.

For optimal recharging, note that the first full charge of the new battery takes about 6 hours, while subsequent charges take up to 3 hours. Never charge the battery at temperatures below +5 °C or above 40 °C.

What are the roller nozzle attachments for the VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 vacuum cleaner used for?
Frequently Asked Questions - 17/04/2026
Response Notice-Facile

The roller nozzle attachments of the VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 vacuum cleaner have several important functions that enhance the efficiency and maneuverability of your device:

Facilitate the movement of the vacuum cleaner

The built-in rollers allow the nozzle to glide more easily over different surfaces, thereby reducing the effort needed to push and pull the vacuum cleaner.

Adapt cleaning to multiple types of floors

These nozzles are designed to work effectively on hard floors (tiles, parquet) as well as on carpets and rugs, adjusting to the texture of the floor for optimal cleaning.

Improve cleaning efficiency

The rollers help to dislodge dust and embedded dirt, allowing the vacuum cleaner to better suck up difficult-to-remove particles.

Protect delicate surfaces

Unlike rigid nozzles, the rollers reduce the risk of scratches or damage to fragile floors when vacuuming.

In summary, the roller nozzle attachments on the VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 enhance maneuverability, protect your floors, and increase cleaning efficiency across a variety of surfaces.

Why does my VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 cordless vacuum start and then stop after a few seconds despite a charged battery?
Frequently Asked Questions - 22/03/2026
Response Notice-Facile

If your VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 cordless vacuum starts and then stops quickly, even with a charged battery, several causes may explain this behavior:

1. Check the filter and dust container

  • Clogged filter: A dirty filter can cause overheating or blockage, leading to the automatic shutdown of the device. Clean or replace the filter regularly.
  • Full container: A saturated dust container can prevent proper operation. Empty it completely before reusing the vacuum.

2. Check connections and battery

  • Correct insertion: Ensure that the battery is properly inserted and locked into the device.
  • Clean contacts: Check that the electrical contacts of the battery and vacuum are not dirty or corroded, which could interrupt the power supply.

3. Overheating protection

The vacuum may automatically stop to prevent overheating of the motor or battery. If you have used the device intensively, allow it to cool down for several minutes before turning it back on.

4. Mechanical or electrical issues

If none of the previous checks resolve the issue, there may be an internal defect, such as a faulty motor or an electronic problem. In this case, professional diagnosis is recommended.

By following these tips, you will be able to identify the cause of your VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 cordless vacuum's quick shutdown and take appropriate action to restore its normal operation.

How to install the filter on the VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 vacuum cleaner?
Frequently Asked Questions - 06/03/2026
Response Notice-Facile

Your VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 vacuum cleaner has two important filters that need regular maintenance: a foam filter located at the top of the dust compartment and a HEPA filter located inside it. To install or clean these filters, follow these steps.

Before you begin: Completely turn off the vacuum cleaner and unplug it to avoid any electrical risk. Then press the lever located at the base of the dust compartment to unlock and empty it.

Removing and cleaning the foam filter: Press the dust compartment unlock button, then remove the compartment. At the top of this compartment, you will see the foam filter with a pull tab. Gently pull on this tab to extract the filter. Wipe all parts with a dry cloth, then clean the foam filter with water and let it air dry completely.

Removing and cleaning the HEPA filter: Still in the compartment, locate the HEPA filter cover inside. Turn it counterclockwise until it reaches the open lock symbol, then remove the cover. Next, pull on the HEPA filter to extract it. Clean it with water and let it dry completely before reinstalling.

Reassembly: Once both filters are completely dry, reinsert the HEPA filter into the compartment, screw its cover back on by turning it clockwise until it locks, then replace the foam filter. Finally, reinsert the complete compartment into the device and ensure it is securely clipped in place.

Maintenance frequency: Empty the dust container after each use to maintain performance. Clean the filters when they are full, in case of loss of suction, or at least every three months. Only use dry and intact filters to avoid damaging your vacuum cleaner.

Why is the suction power of my VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 cordless vacuum not reaching maximum anymore?
Frequently Asked Questions - 10/02/2026
Response Notice-Facile

If the suction power of your VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 cordless vacuum is no longer reaching maximum, several causes may be responsible. Here are the points to check to resolve this issue:

1. Filter Check

A clogged or obstructed filter significantly reduces suction power. Remove the filter and clean it thoroughly with clear water if possible, then let it dry completely before reinstalling it. If the filter is too worn, consider replacing it.

2. Dust Container Check

A full or improperly positioned container can limit the vacuum's performance. Empty it regularly and ensure it is securely attached after each emptying.

3. Inspection of Brushes and Hoses

Debris, hair, or dust can clog the brushes, hoses, or air ducts. Clean all removable parts and check for any blockages.

4. Battery Condition

If your model is cordless, a discharged or aging battery may reduce power. Fully charge the battery before use. If the runtime decreases, the battery may need to be replaced.

5. Suction Mode Selection

Ensure that the vacuum is set to maximum power mode, if multiple levels are available. Check the controls to verify the setting.

By following these steps, you should be able to restore the maximum power of your VALBERG CYCLONIC-S10 cordless vacuum. If the problem persists, it may indicate a technical defect requiring professional intervention.
