How to turn on the Tangent Fjord Dock?

Press the POWER button on the top panel. You can also pass your hand over the proximity sensor to turn on the device if this function is enabled.

How to change source (FM, CD, AUX, iPhone)?

Press the MODE button on the top panel or on the remote control. On the remote control, a long press switches from iPhone mode to FM mode; a short press cycles through the other sources.

How to set an alarm?

Press the ALARM button. Use the TUNE ▲/▼ buttons to navigate through options and ENTER to confirm. Refer to the menu for detailed settings (time, source, repeat).

How to memorize preset FM stations?

In FM mode, press and hold one of the 1 to 4 buttons (or use the remote control) to save the current station. The numbers correspond to the buttons: 1, 2, 3, 4.

Why is CD or iPhone playback not available?

These sources are only accessible if a compact disc is inserted (CD slot) or an Apple device is connected to the dock. Otherwise, the option does not appear in the menu.

How to perform automatic FM station search?

Briefly press SCAN to search for the next station; press and hold to start an automatic search: the first 4 stations found are stored in presets.

What to do if the remote control does not work?

Check the remote control batteries. Point it at the IR receiver located on the front. Remove any obstacles between the remote and the device.

How to connect an external audio source?

Plug a 3.5 mm jack cable into the AUX IN input at the back of the device. Then select the AUX source with the MODE button.

How to disable the proximity sensor?

Access the system menu (button MENU), navigate to the proximity sensor option and disable it. This procedure does not disable the alarm snooze function.
