Does the Samsung LE23R81W television have Bluetooth functionality?
Frequently Asked Questions - 10 j
Response Notice-Facile

No, the Samsung LE23R81W television does not have Bluetooth functionality. This 2007 model was designed before Bluetooth was integrated into standard televisions and does not support any wireless connectivity.

The available connections on this 23-inch LCD television are as follows:

  • HDMI (2 ports: HDMI 1 and HDMI 2, the latter also supporting DVI connection with an adapter cable)
  • Scart/EXT (2 connectors for DVD player, VCR, decoder)
  • S-Video (for high-quality devices like camcorders)
  • Video components (3 inputs: Y, Pr, Pb)
  • PC connection (D-Sub/VGA 15-pin connector for desktop computer)
  • Audio inputs (stereo RCA L/R for standalone audio connections, especially on PC)
  • Headphone jack (3.5 mm socket for private listening)

To connect a wireless device such as a phone or tablet, you have several options: an HDMI adapter with built-in Bluetooth that you plug into an HDMI port, a media player (Chromecast, Apple TV, Android TV Box) compatible with HDMI and Bluetooth, or a DVD player compatible with HDMI that sometimes offers optional Bluetooth output. Bluetooth to HDMI adapters are generally available at low cost and are the simplest solution to add this functionality to your television.

Precautions When Displaying a Still Image

A still image may cause permanent damage to the TV screen.

  • Do not display a still image on the LCD panel for more than 2 hours as it can cause screen image retention. This image retention is also known as "screen burn".
To avoid such image retention, reduce the degree of brightness and contrast of the screen when displaying a still image.

- Watching the LCD TV in 4:3 format for a long period of time may leave traces of borders displayed on the left, right and center of the screen caused by the difference of light emission on the screen. Playing a DVD or a game console may cause a similar effect to the screen. Damages caused by the above effect are not covered by the Warranty.

- Displaying still images from Video games and PC for longer than a certain period of time may produce partial after-images. To prevent this effect, reduce the ‘brightness’ and ‘contrast’ when displaying still images.
