How to install the KH 17179 E extractor hood?

When and how to replace the charcoal filter?
The activated charcoal filter is used in recirculation mode. It must be replaced every 2 months (or more often under heavy use). It cannot be washed or regenerated. Follow the instructions in fig. 6 for removal.
How to set the timer?
Start the motor at the desired speed. Press the Clock button (clock symbol). Use the '+' button to select the shut-off time (from 1 to 9, multiplied by 10 minutes). Confirm by pressing the Clock button again. To cancel, press the Clock button again during the countdown.
What to do if the display shows 'F' or 'C'?
'F' indicates that the grease filter needs cleaning (after 100 operating hours) and 'C' indicates that the charcoal filter needs replacing (after 220 hours). After performing the maintenance, clear the icon by pressing and holding the Clock button.
How to change the lighting intensity?
Press the lighting button (L) briefly to turn on/off. Hold the button for about 2 seconds to switch from full intensity to reduced intensity, and vice versa.
The hood is noisy, what should I do?
Check that the filters are clean and correctly installed. A blocked filter can increase noise. Ensure the exhaust duct is not obstructed. If the noise persists, contact customer service.
Can I use the hood without a grease filter?
No, it is forbidden to use the hood without a grease filter. The grease filter protects the motor and prevents fire hazards. Always ensure it is in place.
What to do in case of breakdown or malfunction?
Unplug the appliance. Check the fuses and that the plug is fully inserted. If the problem persists, call a qualified professional. Do not attempt to repair yourself. The damaged cord must be replaced by the manufacturer or its after-sales service.
