How to clean the grease filter?

How to replace the bulb?

What is the minimum distance between the hood and a gas cooker?

Can I use the hood without the grease filter?

No, never use the hood without the grease filter, as this presents a fire risk and reduces efficiency.

How to install the hood on a wall?

Drill 4 holes, insert suitable wall plugs. Attach the small L-brackets to the hood, then screw the hood to the wall using screws 4 mm x 30 mm. Make sure to use appropriate fixings.

Can the hood be installed above an electric cooker?

Yes, but respect the minimum distance of 65 cm for gas cookers. For electric cookers, a smaller distance may be acceptable, but follow the manufacturer's instructions.

Why is my hood making noise?

• Important! Always turn off the power before installing or servicing, including replacing a bulb.
• The range hood must be installed in accordance with the installation instructions and all measures must be observed.
• The entire installation must be entrusted to a competent person or to a professional electrician.
• Please dispose of packaging materials carefully. They are dangerous for children.
• Check that the ducts do not have bends greater than 90

degrees. This would reduce the efficiency of the range hood.

• This range hood is intended exclusively for domestic use.
• Do not blaze food under the hood.
• Do not try to use the kitchen hood without the grease filters or if the filters are too full of grease!

• Do not blow air into a duct used to evacuate fumes from appliances using gas or other fuel.

• Do not leave frying pans unattended during use as overheated fats or oils may catch fire.

  If the hood is damaged, do not attempt to use it.

• Watch your children to make sure they do not play with the device.
• The plug must be easily accessible after installation. There is minimum distance between the support surface of cookware on the cook top and the lowest part of the cooker hood. (When the range hood is placed over a gas appliance, this distance must be at least 65~cm . If the installation instructions for the gas cook top specify a larger distance, this should be taken into account.
• Proper ventilation of the room must

be provided when a kitchen hood is used simultaneously with appliances using gas or other fuel.

• Clean your appliance periodically using the method suggested in the MAINTENANCE chapter.
• There is a risk of fire if the cleaning is not done according to the instructions.
• Regulations regarding the discharge of air must be respected.

- The charcoal filter traps odors and must be replaced at least once a year depending on the frequency of use of the range hood.
WARNING: Accessible parts of this appliance may become hot when used with cooking appliances.
- For air extraction to be as efficient as possible, use a straight duct or with a minimum of elbows. Number of technicians recommended for installation: 2 to 3. Use appropriate wall

plugs and screws on the wall where the hood is to be installed. Ask a qualified installer or technician to select the right dowels and screws. In a cold climate, it is advisable to install an additional check valve to minimize cold air return, as well as a nonmetallic thermal barrier to minimize heat transfer by conduction to the outside. The valve must be installed on the side of the thermal barrier where the air is cold. The thermal barrier must also be installed as close as possible to the point where the duct enters the heated part of the building.

Wall Mounting

1. Decide the location of the holes for fixing the cooker hood.

1. Install the two small L-shaped bracket on the top of the hood by two screws (4mm x 10mm)

1. The cooker hood is wall mounted by 4 screws (4mm x 30mm) and wall plugs. Mount the cooker hood on the wall on the back of the cooker hood by 2 screws (4mm x 30mm) and wall plugs. Then fix the cooker hood on the wall by 2 screws (4mm x 30mm) and wall plugs through the small L-shaped bracket.

1. Fix the one-way-valve to the air outlet of the cooker hood.

Cabinet Mounting

(1) Fix the one-way-valve to the air outlet of the cooker hood.

(2)Mount the cooker hood on the cabinet by 6 screws (4mmx35mm) and flat washers.

If there is gap between the wall and the cookerhood, you may Install the L-shaped bracket on the bottom of the hood by two screws (3 x 12mm). The installation of the L-shaped bracket is optional.

Before cleaning, switch the unit off and pull out the plug.

Make sure the hood has cooled down completely including its filter and lamp and that the grease is in solid form before cleaning any of its parts.

I. Regular Cleaning

Use a soft cloth moistened with hand-warm mildly soapy water or household cleaning detergent. Never use metal pads, chemical, abrasive material or stiff brush to clean the unit.

II. Monthly Cleaning for aluminum filter

ESSENTIAL CLEANING: Clean the filter every month can prevent any risk of fire.

The filter collects grease, smoke and dust.... so the filter is directly affecting the efficiency of the cooker hood. If not cleaned, the grease residue (potential flammable) will saturate on the filter. Clean it with household cleaning detergent.

Rocker switch

1. Connect the plug into the power.
2. Push switch ① to , the lamp will be on; push switch ① to “0”, the lamp will be off.
3. Push the switch (2) into “I、II”, the motor will be on “low、high” two speeds, push into “0”, the motor will be off.
4. The power will be connected when pull out the front panel. Conversely, the power will be automatically disconnected.

Carbon Filter Replacement

(1) Slide the front part of the cooker hood.
(2) The al filter should be detached first. Press the lock and pull it downward.
(3) Take out the carbon filter by rotating the carbon filter anti-clockwise.
(4) Replace the new carbon filter.

Bulb Replacement

1. Turn off the device and unplug it. Allow the bulb to cool before handling.
2. Slide the front part of the cooker hood.
3. The metallic anti-grease filter should be detached first. Press the lock and pull it downward.
4. Replace with same type of type (220-240V, MAX.2.5W LED).
