Does the camera work without a subscription?

Yes, you can use the camera live and receive notifications without a subscription. To record and review videos, a Ring Protect subscription is required.

What type of Wi-Fi is required?

The camera requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network (802.11 b/g/n). 5 GHz networks are not compatible.

Can the camera be used in rainy weather?

How to set up motion zones?
