How to connect an ARC-compatible TV?

Use an HDMI cable to connect the HDMI MONITOR output of the amplifier to the HDMI ARC input of the TV. In the amplifier menu, set HDMI Control to On and ARC to On (if available). Make sure the TV is configured to output sound via HDMI ARC. This way you can enjoy TV sound through the amplifier's speakers.

Plug the supplied setup microphone into the front SETUP MIC jack. Place the microphone at ear height at the main listening position. From the menu Speakers > Audyssey Setup, launch the wizard.
