Thank you for choosing a Meliconi remote control. Keep this booklet for future reference. The spare remote control Meliconi Personal 2 is ideal to replace the original remote control of LG television sets with built-in digital decoder. After inserting the batteries the remote control is ready to use, without any setup required.

WARNING: Do not expose the remote control to sources of excessive heat.

BUTTON AND FUNCTION USE

Transmission indicator light Accesses the main menus Turns the TV on and off Enters numbers and letters Displays the program guide on the screen Returns to the previous level Enables SECONDARY FUNCTIONS Browses the menus shown on the screen and adjusts the systems settings Adjusts the volume Selects menus and options and confirms the selection Enables and disables audio Shows the program list Returns to the previous level Accesses and quits the teletext Selects RADIO, TV, DTV channel Helps to set picture and sound when connecting AV devices

Returns to the previous program Accesses the main menus Displays the selected preferred program Displays the current screen information Selects a program These buttons are used for teletext (only for models including teletext) or for program setup Hides the screens from the display and resets the TV mode Displays the preferred captions in digital mode Text option selects specific teletext functions Adjusts the Energy Saving mode of the TV set Accesses the quick menus.

FITTING THE BATTERIES

The remote control requires 2 new 1.5 V AAA/LR03 alkaline batteries. Fit them as shown. Try pressing a number and check that the indicator light remains on continuously until the button is released. If the light blinks, the inserted batteries are low, therefore they need replacement. Do not leave exhausted batteries in the remote control. They may leak, damaging the remote control SECONDARY FUNCTIONS Secondary functions are functions that are used only occasionally or are of minor significance. To enable them, press the SHIFT button and, at the same time, press the button corresponding to the desired function, which can be identified by the drawing. MULTIM. SLEEP
