5.3 Operating
Prior to first use
- Keep the device turned on at the highest temperature for approx. 2 to 3 hours to remove the production residues. Then leave the device to cool down.
- Clean the pizza oven (see chapter 6.2 "Cleaning").
Putting the device into operation
- Connect the device to a grounded single outlet.
- Turn the device on with the ON/OFF toggle switch.
- The temperature is set individually for each baking chamber with the temperature control.
Each baking chamber of the pizza ovens NT series (with the exception of 200.2027) has two heating elements. The one heating element is located below the pizza stone made of chamotte, the other heating element in the top part of the pizza oven. The heating elements are set via the temperature controls for top and bottom heat.

NOTE!
- The pizza oven 200.2027 has only one baking chamber, which is divided into two individual chambers by the chamotte pizza stone. This pizza oven has 3 heating elements and 3 temperature controls. The top temperature control serves to set the top heat, the bottom one to set the bottom heat. The heating element in the center of the pizza oven is located directly below the pizza stone. It therefore serves as top heat for the bottom part of the baking chamber and as bottom heat for the top part. The temperature control in the center serves to set the temperature in this section.
- Set the desired temperature. The control lamps for the top and bottom heat light up.
- The adjustable temperature range of the pizza oven is between 0^ - 400^ . The recommended temperature setting is between 300^ - 400^ .
- Once the set temperature has been reached, the control lamp goes off. When the temperature in the baking chamber sinks, the control lamp lights up again and the heating element heats up until it has reached the set temperature again.

NOTE!
Always preheat the pizza oven prior to baking pizzas!
- Once the desired temperature has been reached, open the door of the pizza oven using the handle.
- Place suitable pizzas into the baking chamber of the pizza oven and close the door.
- Do not leave the pizza oven unattended during operation.
-
Observe the baking process through the window in the door.
-
Once the baking process is finished, turn all temperature controls counter-clockwise up to the marking 0^ . Turn the device off with the toggle switch. Then open the door.
- Remove the baked pizzas from the oven.

WARNING! Risk of burns!
Some parts of the device get very hot during operation. Do not touch the device parts with bare hands or fingers. Wear protective gloves when removing the pizzas, which reach above the wrists and use kitchen utensils with long handles to prevent burns.
- Disconnect the device from the mains outlet if you are not going to use it any longer.
