Smoothie Maker
Before using the appliance, read the following instructions carefully and keep this manual for future reference. The appliance must only be used by persons familiar with these instructions.
Connection to the mains supply
The mains voltage must correspond to the voltage specified on the type plate of the appliance. This product complies with all binding CE labelling directives.

Important safety instructions
- In order to avoid hazards and to comply with safety regulations, any repairs to the appliance and the power supply unit must only be carried out by our customer service. Therefore, in the event of a repair being needed,
please contact our customer service by phone or email (see Annex).
- The appliance may be used by individuals with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or those lacking experience and/or knowledge, provided they are supervised or have received proper instruction regarding the safe operation of the appliance from a person responsible for their safety and fully understand the associated risks.
- This appliance must not be used by children. This appliance and its power cord must be kept out of the reach of children.
- Children must not be permitted to play with the appliance.
- Exercise caution when
processing hot liquids, as they may escape from the blending jug in the form of sudden bursts of steam.
- Do not fill the mixing jug with hot food.
- Warning, risk of injury!
- Never place the blade unit onto the drive unit without the mixing jug attached.
- Attention! Do not operate the appliance empty! Do not fill the mixing jug with dry ingredients only (e.g. nuts, almonds).
- After switching off, always wait until the motor has come to a complete standstill. Do not touch any moving parts.
- Attention! To remove the mixing jug, twist the blade unit approx. 1 cm anti-clockwise, then lift the jug upwards.
- The individual attachments
should be cleaned after each cycle of use. For detailed information, please refer to the section Cleaning and care.
- Warning, risk of injury!
The blades are sharp. Exercise extreme caution when cleaning the blade unit!
- Warning! Improper use of the appliance may result in injury.
- Unplug the power cord
- before assembling or disassembling the appliance,
- in case of any malfunction,
- when there is no supervision,
- after use,
- before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not take the power plug out of the socket by pulling
on the power cord, but hold the power plug to take it out. Handle the power plug with dry hands only.
- The appliance is designed for domestic use and similar applications, such as:
- in kitchen areas in shops, offices and similar work environments,
- in agricultural working environments,
- use by guests in hotels, motels and other residential facilities,

in bed-and breakfast type environments.

Caution: Keep any packaging materials well away from children – these materials are a potential source of danger, e.g. of suffocation.
- Before commissioning, check the whole appliance,
including the power cord and any accessories, to ensure that there are no defects or damage, which could impair the functional safety of the appliance. For example, if the appliance has fallen onto the floor, or the power cord has been pulled, there may be damage that cannot be seen from the outside. In this case, too, do not operate the appliance.
- Place and operate the appliance only on a flat, stable surface.
- Never allow the appliance or the power cord to be exposed to any external source of heat.
- Never leave the power cord dangling downwards.
- Keep your hair, hands, and loose clothing away from moving parts, openings,
and vents to avoid entanglement.
- No responsibility is accepted if damage results from improper use, or if these instructions are not complied with.
Cleaning and Care
- Always pull out the mains plug before cleaning.
- Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents or sharp or pointed objects.
- Remove leftover food from the appliance after each use.
- For electrical safety reasons, the drive unit and power cord must never come into contact with liquids or be immersed in them. Clean the drive unit with a slightly damp, soft cloth.
- Clean the mixing jugs, lids
and blade unit in warm soapy water.
- For quick cleaning immediately after use, fill the mixing jug with approx. 400 ml of warm water and a small amount of washing-up liquid. Run the appliance briefly as described in the ‘Operation’ section. Remove the mixing jug and shake if necessary. Then rinse both the jug and blade unit with clean water and dry thoroughly.
- The mixing jugs and lids are dishwasher-safe (not exceeding 65 °C).
Intended Use
- This appliance is designed exclusively for preparing smoothies using fruit, vegetables, juice, milk or similar ingredients, as well as for crushing ice cubes.
- Only use the appliance with the associated accessories.
- Any other use not mentioned in the instructions is considered improper use and could result in serious injury or
damage to the appliance.
Blender jugs
- The appliance is supplied with two mixing jugs and two lids. To seal the mixing jug, fit the lid and screw it on securely. This allows the smoothie to be stored or transported safely.
- Open the lid flap to pour the smoothie directly from the mixing jug.
Before using for the first time
Before first use, clean the mixing jugs, lids and blade unit thoroughly (see ‘Cleaning and Care’).
Short-term operation
The appliance is designed for processing normal household quantities. The appliance may be used continuously for up to 1 minute. Allow the motor to cool down sufficiently before further use.
Switch Settings
The appliance has the following control settings:
P Pulse function The appliance operates at high power while the control knob is held in this position.
0 The appliance is switched off.
1 The appliance operates at low power.
2 The appliance operates at high power.
Safety switch
A safety switch is integrated into the drive unit. The appliance will only operate if the blade unit is correctly attached to the mixing jug.
Operation
- Cut the ingredients into cubes of about 15 mm and put them into the blender jug.
- For best results, the following sequence should be observed when putting the ingredients into the jug:
- liquids
- fresh ingredients
- frozen ingredients

yoghurt/ice-cream
Never fill the jug with dry ingredients only. -
The mixing jug has a maximum capacity of 600 ml.
- Screw the blade unit clockwise onto the blender jug.
- Connect the appliance to the mains.
- Turn the mixing jug upside down and place it onto the drive unit so that the triangle on the blade unit aligns with the 🔒 symbol. Twist the mixing jug clockwise until it clicks audibly into place.
- Warning, risk of injury! Never place the blade unit onto the drive unit without the mixing jug attached.
- Select the desired speed setting using the control knob.
- After blending, turn the control knob to position 0 and unplug the appliance. Once the motor has stopped, twist the blade unit and mixing jug anti-clockwise to remove.
- Attention! To remove the mixing jug, twist the blade unit approx. 1 cm anticlockwise, then lift the jug upwards.
- Turn the mixing jug upside down, unscrew the blade unit and seal the jug
with the lid.
- If some residue sticks to the jug's sidewalls, remove the jug, shake it and let it run through another brief pulse cycle.
Crushing ice
- Ice cubes can be conveniently crushed in the mixing jug as follows: Fill the mixing jug with no more than 50 g of ice cubes (approx. 5 cubes) and attach it to the drive unit as described in the 'Operation' section. Use the Pulse function for about 2 seconds. Wait briefly for the ice cubes to settle at the bottom of the mixing jug, then repeat the process until the desired consistency is reached.
Recipes
Strawberry smoothie
200 g strawberries
300 g yoghurt
1/2 tsp vanilla sugar
Put all ingredients into the jar and activate the appliance to prepare the smoothie.
Strawberry-banana smoothie
175 g strawberries
1 / 2 banana
250 ml orange juice
1/2 tbs honey
Cut the banana into small pieces, put it into the jar together with the other ingredients and activate the appliance to prepare the smoothie.
Tropical garden smoothie
65 g celery
65 g cucumber
25 g ruccola (arugula)
35 g tomato
100 g banana
55 g pineapple
40 g yoghurt
1 tbs olive oil
10 g linseed
1 tbs honey
80 ml water
Cut the vegetables and fruit into small pieces, put them into the jar together with the other ingredients and activate the appliance to prepare the smoothie.
Recipe for testing institutes
Blend 240 g of diced carrots (1x1 cm pieces) with 360 ml of water for 1 minute.
