TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
| EU Charger | Input: 100 V - 240 VAC(50/60 Hz), max. 500 mA | Output: 2 x 8,4 V / 500 mA |
| lithium pack insole rcB 1200 | Output: 7,4 V / 1200 mAh |
Important note:
The battery packs must be charged before using them for the first time.
Charging process (world charger)
- Plug the charger into a socket. The charge indicator (Fig. 2.2) will light up green. Next, plug both battery packs into the charger. The battery packs can be charged in any operating mode.
- The charging process begins automatically. The charge indicator (Fig. 2.2) will light up red during the charging process.
- Once the batteries are fully charged, the charging process is automatically concluded and the LED on the charge indicator (Fig. 2.2) will switch back to green.
- The charging status can be optionally monitored with the Lenz Heat App* convenient control app.
- Disconnect both battery packs from the charger.
- After the charger has been charged and unplugged from the battery packs, they are automatically in the mode which was configured before the charging process was begun. If the battery pack is not used for any further operations, it will turn off automatically after 12 hours.
Important note:
- The percentage indicator in the Lenz Heat App* may show slightly different charging statuses during charging mode, as battery packs are subject to production tolerances by nature. These minimal differences will have no impact on the product's heating output or heating duration.
■ Recharge the battery packs after each use. This extends the service life of the batteries and ensures that the device is always ready for use.
■ The battery consists of lithium ion cells and can be charged in any state. For this reason, the battery does not need to be fully discharged before charging.
■ The battery pack can be in any operating mode when the charging process is started. (POWER OFF, STANDBY, IN USE)
■ The full charging capacity of the battery packs can only be conserved if the battery packs are disconnected from the charger at the end of the charging process.
Charging times
| Battery | 1200 mAh |
| Charging time | 3 – 4 h |
SAFETY FUNCTIONS
- Short circuit protection: In the event of a short circuit at the contact or the heating element, the product's integrated electronics system automatically turns off. The product is ready for use again after removing the short circuit and brief connection with the charging plug.
■ Protection against overcharging and exhaustive discharge: The product is protected against overcharging and exhaustive discharge with the integrated electronics system.
IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
■ When using the cable of the Lenz insole (Lenz Heat Sole), plug it firmly into the battery pack until it firmly locks into place.
■ Never use the heated insole together with the heated sock as this may cause excessive heat!
■ The optimal heating power is reached when the boots or soles are dry.
lithium pack insole rcB 1200:
- Do not use the highest heat setting for longer than a few minutes; continuous operation may result in excessive heat!
- Always set battery packs to low or moderate heat levels to maintain comfortable foot warming (heating should be almost undetectable).
FUNCTION DESCRIPTION
lithium pack insole rcB 1200
The battery packs have three operating modes: POWER OFF – STANDBY – IN USE. They are indicated by the heat setting display on the battery pack. The number of illuminated LEDs corresponds to the selected heat setting.
POWER-OFF:
- The battery pack is completely turned off and the heat setting display (Fig. 1.2) is permanently off.
- They can only be switched on with the control button (Fig. 1.3) of the battery packs.
Note:
The battery packs cannot be switched manually to POWER OFF mode.
If a sole is not connected to the battery packs and the battery packs are in STANDBY mode, the battery packs will automatically switch to POWER OFF mode after 12 hours!
STANDBY:
- The heat setting display (Fig. 1.2) briefly flashes at an interval of 2.5 seconds.
- The battery packs are in stand-by and can be activated with the control button of the battery packs (Fig. 1.3), via the Lenz HeatApp (Smartphone) or via the remote control (available as an accessory).
IN USE:
- The battery pack supplies the connected Lenz insole with energy and the LED of the heat setting display or the operating mode display (Fig. 1.2) is illuminated.
USE AND FUNCTION
Turning on/off:
Briefly (approx. 1 sec.) press the control button (Fig. 1.3) to turn on the battery packs at the lowest heat level.
Changing the heat setting:
- Use the control button (Fig. 1.3) to set 3 different heat settings.
- Every time you push the control button (Fig. 1.3), the heat level rises.
- The respective heat setting is indicated by the flashing of the heat setting display (Fig. 1.2) on the battery packs.

LED flashing – Standby

LED steady on – low heating power

LEDs steady on – medium heating power

LEDs steady on – high heating power
If there is no sole or charger connected to the battery packs, the battery packs will automatically switch to POWER OFF mode after 12 hours!
(If you are using the Lenz Heat App* to control your battery packs remotely, the app must also be closed on your smartphone in order for the battery packs to be able to successfully switch to POWER OFF mode.)
REMOTE CONTROL
The lithium pack insole rcB1200 battery packs can be controlled via Smartphone Lenz HeatApp* or via RemoteControl. The batteries must be in "Pairing Mode" to be able to couple them properly with the Smartphone or the RemoteControl.
Pairing Mode
Please switch the desired batteries to "Pairing Mode". For this purpose, push the control button (Fig. 1.3.) for approx. 10 seconds until the heat setting displays (Fig. 1.2.) are blinking and then immediately release the control button. The heat setting display in the middle is flashing constantly.

LED steady on – Pairing Mode
Note: The Pairing Mode remains active for 2 minutes! If no pairing takes place during this time, this mode will end automatically!
*The optional Lenz HeatApp (paid app) and Lenz HeatApp Basic (free app) convenient control apps are available via the Android Play Store and the Apple Store.
Requirements for using the Lenz HeatApp / Lenz HeatApp Basic:
Bluetooth SMART Ready, Android Version 4.3 or higher or iOS Version 7.0 or higher
HEAT SETTING - HEATING PERIOD
The heating period for the heating power level is indicated in the following table for your information.
| Heat setting | lithium pack insole rcB 1200 |
| 1 | 16 – 22h |
| 2 | 7 – 10h |
| 3 | 3 – 4h |
The heating period per charge depends on the selected heat setting, the ambient temperature and the charging status as well as the age of the batteries.
SERVICE, STORAGE AND CARE
To ensure a long life, we recommend storing the battery packs in a cool room (at temperatures ranging from 5° C / 41° F to 20° C / 68° F) in a semi-charged status. The battery packs must be turned off (heat setting display (Fig. 1.2) dark) and disconnected from the heated sole and charger for storage.
For long-term storage, we recommend discharging and recharging the battery packs halfway at least every 6 months. This ensures that the maximum battery power is preserved for many years!
Clean the parts as needed with a soft, slightly damp cloth and a mild detergent.
Caution:
Always remove the charger from the outlet before cleaning it.
DISPOSAL
■ Once the product has served its purpose, please dispose of it and its packaging appropriately and in an environmentally friendly manner.
■ Please do not dispose of the charger together with the household waste. Instead, bring the parts to a collection site for electronic waste. (c)
