- It is essential to cook with the inner pot (Fig. 5).
- Finally, replace the lid and turn it anticlockwise.
Note
There are different markings on the inner pot. In the case of pressure cooking (especially high-pressure cooking), the maximum capacity level must not be exceeded with any liquid or food.
- When the lid is closed, select the desired menu or the menu indicated in the recipe. Then set the desired cooking time or the cooking time specified in the recipe, using the + and - buttons to change it. Cooking will start automatically a few seconds after selecting the programme.
Tip
It is advisable to follow the cooking times indicated in the recipe booklet. If the result is not what you want, modify the time so that the food is to your liking.
- Once the cooking time has been selected, you must select the type of pressure at which you want the programmable cooking pot to cook. For express cooking select high pressure and for stews select low pressure. If you are following a recipe, carefully follow the instructions for a good result.
Tips
- In the oven/griddle menus, no pressure is used, so you cannot select the type of pressure. In addition, in these menus, it is advisable to remove the pressure from the valve or even remove the lid for better cooking results. In any case, always follow the instructions given in the recipe book for each recipe.
- The cooking menu is generic and is a substitute for the traditional cooking in the casserole.
The following are recommendations for the pre-selected menus.
- “Chicken-meat” choose high pressure for hard meats and low pressure for tender meats.
- "Stew-soups" choose high pressure for soups and low pressure for stews.
- "Legumes" which should generally be used at high pressure.
- Once the menu, cooking time and pressure (if necessary) have been selected, the programmable cooking pot will cook automatically within a short time. The first stage of cooking is heating.
- If after selecting the programme you wish to cancel it, press the cancel button. This button will only cancel the programme if the programme has been started.
- During the warm-up, the display will show the selected time and a moving dash. At the end of this process, the dash will remain fixed while the device is cooking, and the remaining time will be shown on the display. When cooking is complete, the device will beep 3 times.
- Automatically, at the end of the cooking process, the cooker will start the Warm function indefinitely to keep the food warm. This function is only deactivated when the cancel button is pressed.
- Make sure there is no pressure inside the cooking pot before opening the lid. To release the pressure, turn the valve to the "Exhaust" position (Fig. 6). If you cannot open the lid, do not force it (this indicates that there is still some pressure inside), but wait a few seconds for the pressure to release.
Scheduling the meal for a predetermined time
- To program the device and have the meal at a specific time, press the "mealtime" button In this function, you can select within how many hours you want the food to be freshly cooked. Then select the menu, the cooking time and the type of pressure as described in the previous section.
- The eating time is set in 10-minute intervals by pressing the + button and can be increased by 24 hours.
- The programmable cooking pot automatically calculates when to start so that the food is freshly cooked at the set time. In case the cooking time is longer than the set time until eating time. Your programmable cooking pot will start automatically to get as close as possible to the preset time.
- If there is a power failure during cooking or standby, the programmable cooking pot will remember its settings and will continue cooking as soon as the power comes back on.
Preset menus
- GRIDDLE: select the iron menu by pressing the GRIDDLE/FRY button once. It is a menu for non-pressurised use, ideal for gentle cooking, such as omelettes, even with the lid open, so you cannot select the type of pressure, but you can select the cooking time. The LED display will show the letter P accompanied by the cooking time to identify that the selected menu is GRIDDLE. Set the cooking time according to the recipe book.
- FRY: select the fry menu by pressing the GRIDDLE/FRY button twice. This is a menu for non-pressurised use, ideal for heavy cooking, such as potatoes, wings, croquettes, etc.

- OVEN: it is a non-pressure menu, ideal for oven-baked and stir-fried dishes with open lid, cooking time selectable.
- COOKING: with this menu, both the pressure and cooking time can be selected.
- CHICKEN MEAT: This is a pre-set menu for meats, select the type of pressure depending on the meat to be cooked, see our recipe book.
- STEW AND SOUPS: This is a pre-set menu for stews (low pressure) and soups (high pressure), select the type of pressure according to the dish.
- LEGUMES: This is a pre-set menu for legumes, select the type of pressure depending on the type of legumes to be cooked, see our recipe book.

- WARM, CANCEL "-" : this button is used to start the hot function, to cancel cooking at any time and to select a shorter cooking or programming time.
- HIGH AND LOW PRESSURE: these buttons are used to select the desired cooking pressure. To cook traditional dishes, set high pressure. To cook stews or dryer dishes, low pressure is preferred.
Cooking type
Stew
Place all the ingredients in the cooking pot and select the desired time in the stew menu with low pressure. Remember to put a little bit more water if you want it more liquid but bear in mind that this cooking system barely loses any water. Regarding time, it is recommended to set 35% less time compared to the traditional way of cooking.
Steam
To steam food, use only the rack. You can cook with the high steam pressure menu. Regarding time, it is recommended to set 50% less, depending on the amount of water.
Roast o griddle
- Depending on the type of food, use the griddle menu or the oven menu, always with the lid open. If the food requires heating power, it is advisable to use the oven menu with the lid open; if, on the other hand, it needs a normal heat due to its softness, it is advisable to use the griddle menu.
- To achieve the griddle effect, it is important that there is no water in the griddle and that the product is heated before the food is placed on the griddle. The recommended cooking time is 35% less. It is not necessary to turn over food.
Pressure
To cook with pressure, select the high-pressure cooking menu. Add the exact amount of water that you want to the dish to have once it is ready. It is recommended to set half the cooking time than when cooked. Place the food directly on the inner pot.
Bain-marie
To cook this way, use the cooking rack with a mould. Fill the cooking pot with water up to a little over half of the mould or the steam pot, and set the low-pressure cooking menu.
Roast/oven
To roast or oven, place the food on the rack and select the oven menu with the lid closed, without the drain valve (remember to replace the valve when finished) and with hardly any liquid. Consider that baking times on most of the recipes start from 30 minutes. If you wish to brown the food beforehand, it is advisable to preheat in the oven menu for one minute, once hot, cook for 3 minutes without the rack on each side and then place the rack and roast.
Stir-fry
Use only the main inner pot. To achieve a more elaborate stir-fry, it is recommended to heat oil or butter for a couple of minutes with the fry menu and the lid open. Cut and add salt and pepper to the ingredients. Afterwards stir-fry from 2 to 6 minutes, depending on the stir-fry. Frying potatoes is not recommended. If you prefer to cook with the lid open, it is necessary to leave the lid open, but put the valve in the closed position.
Pastries, doughs and breads
Use the oven menu as indicated in the recipes, cooking directly in the main inner pot.
Cooking tips
- For baking, use the non-pressurised oven menu for crispy results. It is recommended to preheat the inner pot for a few minutes to improve the result.
- Preheating the griddle: for the best results of the recipes in the griddle menu, preheat your programmable cooker in order to achieve the best browning.
- When grilling steaks, it is advisable to sear them on one side when the griddle is hot and immediately turn them over and set the time for the recipe.
- Preheating oil: when frying or stir-frying, it is recommended to preheat the griddle menu for 1 minute, so that oil is hot before putting the ingredients in.
- If you wish to open the cooker ahead of time, always make sure that there is no pressure, and as soon as the menu is finished, turn the valve to the exhaust position until the steam is released. The programmable cooker has a safety system and will not open if there is pressure inside.
- Browning food: to achieve an extra-crunchy result in recipes, it is recommended that ingredients to be baked that require such crispiness should be coated with lard, butter or
oil.
- To cook oven omelettes, flatten the surface. Remove the excess oil before adding the beaten eggs for the best result.
- Programmes sautéed dishes: if you want to programme a stir-fry, it is necessary to stir the ingredients well with the oil so that the mixture is homogeneous, and the stir-fry is perfect. If you want to keep the dish warm, we advise you to make the stir-fry first and then add the rest of the ingredients.
- Pasta: for it to cook evenly, it is essential that all the pasta is submerged in liquid, whether it is water, stock, tomato, cream, etc. If you are going to cook spaghetti, it is advisable to cut it so that it is soaked.
- -Rice: when cooking rice, it is important to follow the amounts of water and rice specified in the recipes. In case the rice you want to use is not in any recipe, follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- It is advisable to always stir the food so that the recipes cook properly.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- The programmable cooker has one of the most non-stick surfaces in the world made of PTFE, which gives it incredible non-stick properties. They are easy to clean and do not require the use of a scouring pad or any kind of abrasive to clean the pot, even if it is dishwasher safe.
- Together with the inner pot, the other parts that need to be cleaned are those that are in direct contact with the food (inner lid, lid, silicone ring and exhaust valve) and should be cleaned with soap and water or, if necessary, with a sponge or scouring pad.
- To remove the inner lid and the silicone ring, pull from the small holder that is in the inner lid and remove gently the silicone ring placed in the lid. Clean it after each use, otherwise it may leave traces of flavour or odour in the following meals cooked in the programmable cooking pot.
- As for the safety filter and the exhaust valve, it is important to keep them clean to avoid blocking the steam outlet and to be able to open your cooking pot. To do this, use the decompression pin supplied with the programmable cooking pot as a sweep. Fig. 7-8
Recommendations
It is recommended that you clean your programmable cooking pot once a month with the following instructions, to avoid odours in the back cover:
- Add 1 litre of water with half a lemon to the inner pot.
- Close the lid and the valve.
- Select a low-pressure menu (e.g. low pressure stew menu) for 10 minutes. Enough time for steam to be generated inside the cooking pot and for odours to be eliminated from the lid and back cover.
Cleaning the rubber and the valves
- It is extremely important to keep the programmable cooking pot clean.
- Clean the valves and the rubber after each use to eliminate smells and flavours.
