How to scan a document to a USB drive?

Insert the USB drive into the dedicated port. On the touch screen, press Scan, then select To USB. Choose settings (color, resolution) and start scanning.

How to interrupt a print job to copy an urgent document?

Use the Job Interrupt function from the touch screen. The print queue is temporarily suspended; you can copy your urgent document. Once copying is complete, printing resumes automatically.

How to set up secure printing (encrypted printing)?

From the printer driver on your computer, enable the Encrypted Printing option and set a password. On the printer, you will need to enter this password on the touch screen to release the document.

What to do in case of a paper jam?

Open the front cover and gently remove the jammed paper. Also check the automatic document feeder. Consult the manual for specific locations. Use appropriate paper to avoid jams.

How to replace the toner?

Open the front cover. Remove the old toner cartridge and insert the new one following the color indications. Close the cover. The printer will perform an initialization sequence.

How to print automatic duplex?

In the printer driver, select the Duplex option (duplex). Make sure the appropriate tray is selected. The MC860 will automatically print on both sides.

How to configure the fax?

Connect the phone line to the LINE port. Go to Settings on the touch screen, then Fax. Enter your fax number and transmission settings (speed, resolution).

How to scan a document to a network computer?

Ensure the printer is connected to the network. From the touch screen, select Scan, then To Network. Choose the destination folder or configured email address.

What does the 'Toner Low' message mean?

The toner level is low. Order a replacement cartridge as soon as possible. You can continue printing until the quality is no longer satisfactory.

How to restore factory settings?

On the touch screen, go to Settings > Maintenance > Reset > Factory Reset. Confirm the operation. Note that this will erase all custom settings.
