• This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for use in bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels and offices.

• This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.

2. BEFORE USE

- This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Remove the appliance from its box. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items

are recycled properly.

- Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

1. Check the mains voltage and connect the device to a power socket.
2. Press the power button to turn the brush on.

3. Press the temperature increase button to increase the temperature. Press the temperature decrease button to lower the temperature. During the heating time, the selected temperature will flash on the display. When the brush reaches the selected temperature, the temperature on the display will remain steady.

4. Press and hold the power button for 1 second to turn it off and unplug it from the power socket.

5. Allow the appliance to cool down before storing it.

Using the brush

1. Wash and dry your hair, and comb it completely. Then place a towel around your neck to prevent possible skin burns.
2. Divide the hair into strands of about 3 cm. Starting from the hair root, hold the section of hair with one hand while placing it between the bristles of the brush and press to ensure it is fully inserted between the heating bristles. Slowly and evenly glide the brush from root to tip (Fig. 2).

CAUTION:

• The brush should not remain in the same position on the hair for more than 5 seconds to prevent damage.
• Avoid the bristles touching the scalp.
• If the straightening effect is not satisfactory, you may repeat this step several times.

NOTE:

When using the appliance for the first few times, it may emit a slight odour. This is completely normal and will disappear with use.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning and maintenance

• Unplug the device from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid.
• Place the device on a heat-resistant surface until cool before storing.
• Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the device.
• Do not wrap the power cord around the device.

• The product can be stored in a travel bag.
• Keep out of the reach of children.
• Please store it in a place with low humidity and dust.
• Please avoid storing the product in a place with high temperature or direct sunlight.
