- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

1. Connect the appliance to the power supply and press the power button for 2 seconds. It will automatically display the default operating temperature.
2. Select the desired temperature by pressing the "+" and "-" button. Higher temperature settings will be reached quicker than lower settings.
3. Temperature can be adjusted from 140 °C to 220 °C. Set the temperature. Digits will blink until the device's teeth reach it the set temperature.
4. Hold down the "+" button for 3 seconds to lock the appliance while unlocked, or to unlock it while locked.

Recommendation

Always select the lowest temperature setting (140 °C) when using the hair straightener for the first time.

• To switch from °C to °F, hold pressed the "-" button for 3 seconds.
• The device features ionising function. While in operation, the ion generator will produce ionic energy to achieve a silky, smooth and shiny hair.
• After 30 minutes of inactivity, the device will automatically turn off thanks to its auto shut-off function.

Straightening the hair

1. Hold the device by the handle, always at a safe distance from skin and eyes. Use a mirror.
2. Separate your hair into approx. 4-cm strands.
3. Begin at the roots and place the hair strands between the bristles one at a time.

4. Move the hair straightening brush slowly from the roots through to the tips of your hair. Repeat until your hair is straightened as desired.

5. After finishing styling, let your hair cool down.

6. Hold presses the power button for 2 seconds to switch the device off.

Warning

Use the appliance on hair that is 70%-80% dry for best results.

• Do not wrap the cord around the barrel.
• Store the device in a safe and dry place and keep it out of the reach of children. You may hang the appliance by the hanging hook.
