  • All safety instructions must be closely followed when using the appliance.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.

- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.

- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the appliance marking and that the wall outlet is earthed.

- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be repaired by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any type of danger.

- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the device in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are completely dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.

- If the appliance falls accidentally into water, unplug it immediately. Do not touch the water!

- Do not operate the device if any fault or unusual sign is detected.

2. BEFORE USE

  • This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
  • Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. ASSEMBLY

Fig. 1

  1. Remove all fan parts from the box.
  2. Place the bracket (16) on the base (17) and fix it using the fixing screw (18).
  3. Place the main frame (10), including parts 8-12, on the tube (14) and fix it using the fixing nut (13).
  4. Place the back grille (7) on the motor (8) and fix it using the back-grille fixing element (5).
  5. Place the blades (4) on the motor (8) through the back grille (7) and fix them using the fixing cap (3).
  6. Place the decorative ring (1) on the front grille (2) and fix it using the grille ring (6).

4. OPERATION

  1. Place the fan on a flat, dry surface and insert the plug into a power socket. A beep will sound, indicating that the fan is plugged in.
  2. No function can be used until the fan is switched on.
  3. The appliance can be operated by using the control panel on the main frame or by using the remote control provided.

On/off

  • If you press this icon/button, a beep will sound, and the fan will start. By default, the fan will run in Normal mode and at speed number five. This number, together with the Normal mode indicator light, will be shown on the display.
  • If you press this icon/button a second time, a beep will sound, and the fan will switch off. Any indicator lights that were on (except the one indicating that the fan is connected to the mains) will also turn off.
  • You will only be able to select the speed (1-10), using the corresponding icon/button for this purpose if the fan is operating in Normal mode.

Timer

  • When the fan is running, you can set the timer to switch off automatically after the set time has elapsed.
  • The minimum operating time you can select is 1 hour, the maximum is 12 hours. When you have selected the time, the corresponding indicator light will light up.
  • Each time you press this icon/button, an hour is added to the operating time. When you have selected the desired time, the display will show the selected number (1-12) and the corresponding indicator light will light up.
  • The fan will automatically switch off after the set time has elapsed.

Note: if the timer is activated, it will not affect the rest of the functions, you can continue to select them as usual.

Mosquito-repellent function

  • Insert the mosquito tablet into the mosquito tablet slot.
  • By pressing this icon/button, the function will be activated, and the corresponding indicator light will light up on the control panel.
  • By pressing this icon/button again, the function will be deactivated, and the indicator light will turn off.
  • The mosquito-repellent function is independent and does not affect other functions.

Oscillation

  • Press the oscillation icon/button to activate the oscillation function (from right to left). The corresponding indicator light will light up on the control panel.
  • Press the oscillation icon/button again to deactivate automatic oscillation. The corresponding indicator light will turn off.

Mode button

  • When the fan is operating in Normal mode, you can select the desired mode by pressing this button.
  • The modes of operation are as follows: Sleep or Natural: if you select either of these two modes, the corresponding indicator light will light up.
  • If you exit these modes, the fan will go back to Normal mode and the indicator light of the previously selected mode will turn off.
  • Please note: if you choose Natural mode or Sleep mode, you will not be able to set the speed. When the fan is operating in Normal mode (not in Natural mode or Sleep mode), you will be able to set the desired speed.
  • You can choose between 10 speeds. When you have selected the desired speed, the display will show the selected number (1-10) and the corresponding indicator light will light up.

Operation of modes

The fan has 10 speeds. 1 to 3 is considered low speed; 4 to 6 is considered medium speed; and 7 to 10 is considered high speed.

1. Natural mode

  • High speed: 10 - 10 - 0 - 6 - 6 - 10 - 10 - 2 - 2 - 10 - 6 - 6 - 10 - 10 - 0 - 6 - 6 - 10 - 10 - 10 - 2 - 2 - 10 - 10 - 6 - 6 - 2 - 2 - 10 - 10 - 6 - 6.

2. Sleep mode

  • The operation of this mode corresponds to that of the Natural mode.
  • If operating at low speed, it will follow the same sequence as the Natural mode and stay at this speed.
  • If operating at medium speed, it will follow the same sequence as the Natural mode for 30 minutes; after this time, it will operate at low speed.
  • If operating at high speed, it will follow the same sequence as the Natural mode for 30 minutes; after this time, it will operate at medium speed. After another 30 minutes, it will operate at low speed.

Remote control

The remote control is provided with a battery inside. Remove the transparent film on the battery before using the remote control. When the battery is empty, it must be replaced by another one of the same type:

  1. Locate the battery-compartment cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Open the cover.
  3. Remove the used battery carefully, paying attention to its orientation and polarity.
  4. Insert the new CR2025 battery, making sure to insert it in the correct direction.
  5. Close the battery-compartment cover.

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Note: always disconnect the mains plug from the mains socket before cleaning the appliance.

  • Do not immerse the device in water or splash it with any other liquid.
  • Do not use solvents or any other chemical products for cleaning. When the fan is not in use, clean it and store it in a dry place.
  • When the fan is not in use, wipe off dust to keep it in good condition; if necessary, disassemble the grille and remove the blades; wipe them with a soft damp cloth.
