How to clean the screen without damaging it?

Use a slightly damp microfiber cloth with water. Do not press too hard and avoid any chemical products like alcohol or ammonia.

How to adjust brightness and contrast?

Use the buttons located under or behind the screen to access the OSD (On-Screen Display) menu. Navigate with the arrows to adjust brightness, contrast, and other settings.

What is the native resolution of the screen?

The native resolution is 1920x1080 pixels (Full HD). For a sharp image, set your computer to this resolution.

Can I mount the screen on an articulated arm?

Yes, the screen is compatible with VESA 100x100 mounts. Remove the original stand and screw the arm onto the holes at the back.

How to activate the low blue light mode?

In the OSD menu, look for the 'Low Blue Light' or 'Blue Light Filter' option. Activate it to reduce eye strain.

What to do if the screen flickers?

Check the HDMI or VGA cable, it may be loose. Try a different cable or port. In the menu, enable the 'Anti-flicker' option or reduce brightness.

What is the power consumption of the screen?

During normal operation, the screen consumes about 30 watts. In standby, consumption is less than 0.5 watt.

How to connect headphones?

Plug your headphones or headset into the 3.5mm jack located at the back of the screen. The sound will then be played through your headphones.

Read these instructions thoroughly before using the product. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

• Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the product rating label and that the plug is earthed.
• This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
• Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
• Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service to avoid any danger.
• Ensure that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked. If they are blocked, the device will activate the overheat protection system.
• Turn off and unplug the device after use.
• If you use the device in a bathroom, always make sure to unplug it from the power supply, as the proximity of the device to water is a hazard even when switched off.
• As additional protection, it is recommended that a circuit breaker (RCD) having a rated operating fault current not exceeding 30 mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your electrician for advice.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

• The hair dryer emits ions, which protect both hair and skin, add shine, and seal the hair cuticle for total care during use.
• Wash and condition your hair.
• Dry it with a towel and comb it.
• Install the desired attachment (concentrator nozzle or diffuser) at the front part of the hair dryer.
• Plug the device into a power supply.
• Use the speed and temperature selector to set the desired setting. Fig. 2

Cool shot function

• This function is activated by pressing the cold-air shot button once. The hair dryer will start producing cool air. Hold down the button for as long as necessary and release it once finished.
• Once you have finished using the device, switch it off and unplug it from the power supply.
• Allow it to completely cool down before cleaning or storing it.

Warning: in case of overheating, the hair dryer will automatically turn off. In this case, unplug it from the power supply and allow it to cool down for a few minutes. Before turning it back on, make sure there are no fluffs, hair, or other objects blocking the air inlet and outlet grille.

This hair dryer features a folding function. Fold the hair dryer pushing the handle inwards and transport it or store it easily.

Tips

• The hair diffuser is designed to dry straight or curly hair.
• To increase natural hair volume or enhance curls, keep the device in an upright position as you use it. (Fig. 4)
• If you wish to add volume to the roots, place the diffuser pins between hair, and once in contact with the scalp, move the hair dryer in circles to distribute heat. (Fig. 5).

Warning: hairspray contains flammable substances. Do not use it while using the device.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Turn off and unplug the device from the power supply before cleaning or repairing it.
• Use a soft damp cloth with some water to clean the product surface.

• Thoroughly dry the device with tissue paper after cleaning it.

• Clean the dust and hair that may block the grille and air inlet or outlet periodically. To make cleaning easier, remove the air inlet grille. (Fig. 6).

• Do not immerse the device in water and do not expose it to water while cleaning it.
