Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

• Ensure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the appliance rating label and that the plug is earthed.
• This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
• If the appliance is to be used in a bathroom, it must be unplugged from the wall socket after use, as the proximity to water could be a risk even with the appliance switched off.
• As additional protection, it is recommended that a Residual Current Device (RCD) having a rated operating fault current not exceeding 30 mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. We recommend you ask a qualified installer for advice.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the appliance when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

This hair dryer releases ions, which protect hair, skin, and seal cuticles for a total care of your hair during use.

Wash and condition your hair.

Dry your hair with a towel and comb it.

Assemble the concentrator nozzle onto the hair dryer's front part.

Plug the appliance into a power supply.

Use the speed and temperature selector to set the desired setting.

III: Turbo speed and maximum temperature.

II: Turbo speed and medium temperature.

I: Low speed and low temperature.

Cool-shot function

This function is activated by pressing the Cool-shot button. The hair dryer will start producing cool air. Hold down the button for as long as necessary and release it once finished.

• Once you have finished using the appliance, switch it off and unplug it from the power supply.
• Allow it to completely cool down before cleaning or storing it.

Warning

Hairsprays contain flammable substances. Do not apply hairspray to your hair before using the appliance.

Warning

In case of overheating, the hair dryer will automatically turn off. In this case, unplug it from the power supply and allow it to cool down for a few minutes. Before turning it back on, make sure there are no fluffs, hair, or other objects blocking the air inlet and outlet grille.

Folding function

This hair dryer features a folding function. Fold the hair dryer pushing the handle inwards for easy transport and storage. Fig. 3

Tips

To increase natural hair volume or enhance curls, hold the appliance upright during use.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Turn off and unplug the appliance from the power supply before cleaning or repairing it.
• Turn the back air inlet grille slightly counterclockwise and gently pull it out to clean it.
• Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the surface of the appliance.
• Thoroughly dry the appliance after cleaning it.
• Clean the dust and hair that may block the grille and air inlet or outlet periodically. Fig. 5
• Do not immerse the appliance in water and do not expose it to water while cleaning it.
