EN • The coding in this manual is generic and applies to all code variants of the appliance.
Read the following instructions carefully before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the product's rating label and that the plug is earthed.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- If the appliance is to be used in a bathroom, it must be unplugged from the wall socket after use, as the proximity to water could be a risk even with the appliance switched off.
- As additional protection, it is recommended that a Residual Current Device (RCD) having a rated operating fault current not exceeding 30 mA be installed in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. We recommend you ask a qualified installer for advice.
- This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- This icon means that this device must not be used in a bathtub, shower or tank filled with water.

- WARNING: do not use this appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks or other containers filled with water.
- Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid or expose electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
- Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service to avoid any danger.
- This symbol means: "Caution, hot surface".
- Ensure that the air inlets and outlets are not blocked.
- Turn off and unplug the appliance from the power supply immediately after use.
- Unplug the appliance immediately under the following circumstances: abnormal operation, needs cleaning, and/or after use.
- Do not insert metal objects through the air inlets to avoid electric shocks.
- Do not wind the power cord around the appliance.
- Keep your face, neck, and scalp away from the appliance.
- Do not leave the appliance on any surface while in operation.
- Do not use the appliance to dry wigs, natural hair extensions, fake hair or animal hair.
- The air inlet ensures good ventilation of the appliance. Do not cover or obstruct it, as this may cause overheating.
- Do not insert objects in the air inlet.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
- Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.
- Do not remove the product's serial number in order to keep proper traceability if technical assistance is required.

3. OPERATION
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage specified on the product's rating label and that the plug is earthed. Connect the device to the power supply.
- Press the power button to switch on the appliance.
- Adjust the desired temperature by repeatedly pressing the temperature setting button. There are 4 temperature settings available: 3 heat settings and 1 cool shot.
- Adjust the desired airflow by repeatedly pressing the speed setting button. There are 3 speed settings available.
- You can activate Soft mode by pressing the corresponding button. This mode generates gentle temperature and speed settings, ideal for setting curls without causing frizz. To deactivate this mode, press the Soft mode button again, and the appliance will return to its previous settings. Alternatively, you may press any of the setting buttons (temperature or speed).
- When you have finished using the appliance, press the power button to switch it off and unplug it from the mains socket.
NOTE: The hair dryer features a memory function. When switched on again, it will default to the last temperature and speed settings used.
WARNING: If the hair dryer stops producing hot air or switches off for any reason, the overheat protection has been activated. Switch off immediately, unplug from the mains and allow to cool. Before switching on again, ensure nothing is obstructing the air inlet and outlet.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Switch off and unplug the appliance from the mains socket before cleaning or repairing it.
- Gently rotate the air inlet grille anticlockwise and pull outward to remove and clean it.
- Remove the diffuser from the main body by sliding down the release button, turning the head towards the open padlock icon and gently pulling it away to clean the air outlet.
- Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the product's surface.
- Thoroughly dry the appliance after cleaning.
- Regularly clean dirt and hair that may block the grille, air inlet or outlet using a soft brush.
- Do not immerse the appliance in water or allow water inside while cleaning it.
5. TROUBLESHOOTING

| The appliance does not switch on | The power cord is not properly plugged in. | Make sure the power cord is properly connected, confirm there are no abnormalities and switch the appliance back on. |
| You have not pressed the power button | Press the power button to turn the device on or off. | |
| Internal heating elements glow red | The air inlet or outlet is blocked. | Check whether the air inlet or outlet is obstructed by lint or hair, confirm there are no abnormalities and switch the appliance back on. |
| The hair dryer does not blow hot air | The hair dryer has activated the overheating protection system. | Turn off the hair dryer and let it cool down, clean the air inlet and outlet and make sure there is nothing blocking either of them. |
6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES

This symbol indicates that, according to the applicable regulations, the product and/or batteries must be disposed of separately from household waste. When this product reaches the end of its service life, you must remove the batteries/accumulators and take it to a collection point designated by local authorities.
For detailed information on how to properly dispose of electrical and electronic equipment and/or the corresponding batteries, consumers
should contact their local authorities.
