2. BEFORE USE

  • This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
  • Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

3. OPERATION

  1. Wash your hair and dry it with a towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. Make sure that your hands are completely dry before plugging the hair dryer into the mains.
  3. Attach the concentrator nozzle or diffuser accessory, if desired.
  4. Once the hair dryer is plugged in, place the power switch in the on position.
  5. First, place the power switch in the on position.
  6. Each time you press the temperature selection button it will set a different level (1-2-3-2-1). The indicator light of the selected level will light up in the corresponding colour (blue, orange or red).
  7. Each time you press the speed selection button it will set a different level (1-2-3-2-1).
  8. Blow dry the hair keeping a distance of at least 10 cm between the air outlet and the scalp. Move the hair dryer while drying your hair to avoid excessive heat in one area.
  9. When the hair is dry, place the power switch in the off position and unplug the hair dryer from the power socket.

WARNING: If you notice that the appliance switches off or stops blowing hot air, then the overheating protection has been activated. In this case, unplug it from the power supply and allow it to cool down for a few minutes. Before switching it back on, make sure there are no fluffs, hair, or other objects blocking the air inlet grille.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Disconnect the appliance from the power supply and allow it to cool down before cleaning.
  • Use a soft, cotton cloth to clean the appliance inlets and outlets.
  • Do not use sharp tools near the inlets and outlets of the appliance to avoid damage.
  • Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid and do not expose it to water while cleaning it.
  • Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders, or cleaners.
  • You can remove the outer grille protecting the air inlet to clean it with a cotton swab or soft cloth. To do that:

  • Turn the outer grille counterclockwise until it unlocks.

  • Separate both parts by pulling the grille towards you. Clean the air inlet and the outer grille.
  • Follow the reverse procedure to refit the grille.
