- This device is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.

The appliance must be powered at a low safety voltage as stated on the marking.

- WARNING: do not use the appliance near bathtubs, showers, sinks, or other water-filled containers.
- Check the power cable regularly for visible damage. If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec
Technical Support Service to avoid any danger.

Battery instructions
- This device contains an irreplaceable battery.
- This device includes a Li-ion battery. Do not incinerate or expose it to high temperatures, as it may explode.
- WARNING: to recharge the battery, use only the power cord supplied with the appliance.
- Leaks from the battery or cells can occur
under extreme conditions. Do not touch any liquid that leaks from the battery. If the liquid gets into contact with skin, wash immediately with soap and water. If the liquid gets into the eyes, wash them immediately with clean water for a minimum of 10 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear gloves to handle the battery and dispose of it immediately in accordance with local regulations.
- Keep batteries out of the reach of children when there is a risk of ingestion.
- Battery ingestion can cause burns, soft tissue perforation, and death. It can cause severe burns within two hours of the ingestion.
- In case of battery ingestion, please seek medical help immediately.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the appliance when transporting it in the future.
In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
- Fully charge the hair straightener before using it for the first time, of after a long period of inactivity.

3. OPERATION
Battery level indicator light
The battery indicator light will change depending on the remaining battery level:
- As long as the indicator light is steady blue, the battery is between 100% and 20% charged.
- When the battery drops below 20%, the indicator light will

start flashing blue. When the hair straightener runs out of battery, it will automatically switch off.
- During charging, the battery indicator light will flash blue. When the appliance is almost charged, the indicator light will remain steady.
- When charging is complete, the battery indicator will turn off.
Auto switch-off
- This hair straightener has an automatic safety switch-off function. If it is on for more than 30 minutes continuously, it will automatically switch off.
- If, after this time, you want to continue using the hair
straightener, press the power button. Next, select the desired temperature.
- This function does not replace the conventional switch-off; hence, turn off the iron when not in use.
Using the wireless hair straightener
- Unlock the appliance using the safety lock on the side and press and hold the power button to switch it on.
- Press the power button repeatedly to select the desired temperature.
- When the appliance reaches the selected temperature, divide the hair into 2-3 cm strands and glide the hair straightener from the root to the tip of each strand.

- Repeat the straightening process if desired for a better result.
- Once you have straightened your hair, press, and hold the power button to turn the appliance off and turn the lock switch to the lock position to prevent the straightener from turning on by accident.
Charging the wireless hair straightener
NOTE: make sure that the appliance is switched off.
You can charge the appliance directly or place it on the charging base.
- Direct charging: insert one end of the charging cable into the charging port at the base of the appliance. Connect the other end to a compatible power adapter.
- Wireless charging: place the appliance on the charging base and connect one end of the charging cable into the charging port at the back of the appliance. Connect the other end of the cable to a compatible power adapter.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Switch off the hair straightener, unplug it from the mains (if charging) and allow it to cool down before cleaning.

- Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the plates and housing.
- Do not use abrasive detergents, cleaning agents or solvents.
- Never immerse the product in water or any other liquid.
- If you store the product for a long period of time, fully charge the battery and discharge it again at least once every 6 months.

To avoid damage to the charging cable, do not wind it around the appliance.

If none of these situations match your problem, do not attempt to disassemble or repair the appliance yourself. The repair must be carried out by an authorised technician, and you must use only original spare parts.
