How to connect the monitor to my computer?

Use the provided HDMI, VGA or DisplayPort cable. Connect one end to the monitor and the other to your computer. Then plug in the power cable and turn on the monitor.

How to adjust display settings?

Use the buttons located on the side or bottom of the monitor to access the OSD menu. You can adjust brightness, contrast, and other settings like the blue light filter.

How to clean the screen?

Turn off the monitor and unplug it. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the surface. Avoid chemicals or abrasives that could damage the Nanosilk coating.

The monitor does not turn on, what to do?

Check that the power cable is properly connected and the outlet works. Make sure the monitor is turned on with the Power button. If the problem persists, test with another cable or contact technical support.

How to activate the blue light filter?

Access the OSD menu via the monitor buttons. Look for the Blue light filter or Low Blue Light option and enable it. This reduces eye strain during prolonged use.

What are the viewing angles?

Thanks to the IPS panel, viewing angles are wide: 178° horizontally and vertically. You can see the screen clearly from almost any angle.

Can I mount the monitor on an articulated arm?

Yes, the monitor is compatible with VESA 100x100 mm mounts. Remove the stand and attach the mount to the back of the monitor using the provided screws.

What is the warranty?

Cecotec offers a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase. Keep your invoice as proof. The warranty covers manufacturing defects but not accidental damage.

How to update drivers?

Download the latest drivers for your operating system from the Cecotec website. For Windows, you can also use Device Manager to search for updates automatically.

The image is blurry, how to fix?

Make sure the resolution is set to the native value (1920x1080). Check cable connections. If using an adapter, try a different connection type. In the OSD menu, reset to factory settings.

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance comes in a packaging designed to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging materials in a safe place to prevent damage to the appliance if you need to transport it in the future. If you wish to dispose of the original packaging, make sure all items are recycled properly.
• Check that all parts and components are included and in good condition. If any of them are missing or damaged, please contact Cecotec's Official Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

This hair straightener is designed to protect and nourish hair, leaving it softer, shinier and frizz-free. Thanks to its NanoSilk coating, it achieves a shiny, smooth finish while reducing friction and the risk of heat damage.

Warning: The first time you use the device, it may give off some steam and a strange smell. This is normal and will disappear over time.

1. Plug the straightener to the mains and switch it on by pressing the power button. The default temperature is 190^ C.
2. Set the desired temperature (between 130 and 230°C) by repeatedly pressing the temperature increase or decrease buttons. To select the maximum temperature, press and hold the Turbo function button.
3. While the straightener is heating up, the display will show the actual temperature of the plates and a level indicator will gradually increase. Once the selected temperature has been reached, the indicator will remain steady and the selected temperature will will appear on the display.
4. Comb your hair and divide it into sections, starting with the lower ones. Take a section approximately 4 cm wide and place it between the heating plates. Note: Avoid touching the plates with your hands.
5. Slowly glide the straightener from roots to ends. Do not touch the scalp with the plates to avoid burns.
6. Repeat the process if necessary and do the same with the rest of the strands. Allow the hair to cool before styling it.
7. When finished, switch off the straightener by pressing and holding the power button and unplug it.
   Note: Allow the device to cool on a heat-resistant surface before storing it.

Warning:

When using the straightener, some steam may be emitted. This may be due to evaporation of sebum, residues of hair products or excess water evaporating from the hair.

To get the best results when straightening your hair and keep it protected, it is important to follow some basic recommendations. Below, you will find practical tips to help you optimise the use of your straightener, care for the health of your hair, and achieve flawless straightening.

• Use a lower temperature on the first pass. This will help protect the hair and determine if the temperature needs to be adjusted.
• You can use a spray to protect your hair from heat. This reduces thermal damage and keeps hair healthy.

- If you notice that the hair is not straightening properly, press the plates lightly onto the strand of hair and slide the device more slowly or select a higher temperature.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the straightener and allow it to cool down completely.
• Clean the plates with a damp cloth. Do not use any type of soap.
• Do not immerse the device in water or any other liquid and do not expose it to water or liquids during cleaning.
• Do not use abrasive scouring pads, powders, or cleaners.
• When storing the straightener, ensure that the plates are securely closed and locked with the locking tab.
• Store the straightener in a dry and safe place, out of the reach of children.
• Do not wrap the power cord around the device.
• Place the device on a heat-resistant surface until cool before storing.

5. TROUBLESHOOTING
