Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.
This product is for household only. Do not use for commercial or industrial purposes.
Check the power cord regularly for visible damage. If the cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec in order to avoid any type of danger.
Do not immerse the cord, plug, or any non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid, nor expose the electrical connections to water. Make sure your hands are dry before handling the plug or switching on the appliance.
Do not use the device if its cord or any other part is damaged. In this case, contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
Keep children away from the packaging materials. Risk of suffocation. The appliance must be checked frequently for signs of wear or damage. If such signs are present, of if the appliance has been used improperly, contact the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec. Do not try to repair the device by yourself.

2. BEFORE USE
Take the product out of the box.
Remove all packaging materials. Keep the original box.
Make sure all the components are included and in good conditions, otherwise, contact immediately the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
Warning: Do not turn the device on while it is closed with the lock tab.
3. OPERATION
Features:
Temperature settings: 120 °C-140 °C-160 °C-180 °C-200 °C-220 °C.
ENGLISH
Recommendation:
120 °C – 140 °C > dyed or damaged hair
160 °C – 180 °C > fine hair
200 °C > normal hair
220 °C > thick hair
Auto shut-off after 60 minutes.
Plug the device into a power supply and leave it on a heatproof, stable and flat surface.
Hold down the power button for a few seconds to turn the device on and wait until it heats.
Set the desired temperature by pressing the "+" and "-" buttons. Temperature can be set from 120 °C to 220 °C, in 20-degree intervals.
Once the set temperature is reached, the indicator will stop blinking and will remain steady on. The product is ready to use.
Press the on/off button twice quickly to lock all keys in order to prevent setting from being changed during use (the lock icon will light up).
Press the on/off button twice quickly to unlock all keys and adjust temperature if required.
Straight hairstyles
Wash hair appropriately with water and shampoo. Dry and comb it thoroughly.
Divide hair in strands with a comb.
The appliance should only be used for styling natural hair.
Pay special attention when using natural hair extensions.
Do not use the device on synthetic hair.
Take a strand about 5-cm wide between forefinger and middle finger and press the straightener plates together over the strand of the hair.
Slowly move the device away from the roots of the hair towards its tips.
Do exactly the same with next strands of the hair.
Allow your hair to cool down, and then brush it into the desired style.
Curly hairstyles
Wash hair appropriately with water and shampoo. Dry and comb it thoroughly. Lock the device by activating the lock tab for both plates to stay closed.
Divide hair in strands with a comb.
The appliance should only be used for styling of natural hair.
Pay special attention when using natural hair extensions.
Do not use the device on synthetic hair.
Hold a 5-cm hair strand with the tweezers and wind it around the barrel (plates). Leave the strand for a few seconds and then release it. Repeat this step will the rest of the hair strands you want to curl until you obtain the desired hairstyle.
Allow your hair to cool down, and then brush it into the desired style.
Note:
Never touch the hot surfaces of the device.
To avoid burns, do not use the device too close to the skin of the scalp.
You may use a heatproof glove (not included).
Avoid touching the skin on the neck or face.
Keep the device closed in the same section for 10 seconds at most to prevent hair damage.
After use
Once you have finished using the device, simply press the on/off button. The unit will turn off.
Unplug it from the power supply.
Allow it to cool completely down before storing it.

4. Cleaning and maintenance
Turn off and disconnect the device from the mains supply before cleaning it.
Make sure it is completely cooled.
Use a moist cloth to clean the product's surface, including the plates.
Do not use abrasive products.
Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid or place it under running water.
Place the device on a heatproof surface until it cools down before cleaning or storing it.
Do not wrap the cord around the barrel.
Store the appliance in a safe and dry place and keep it out of the reach of children.

6. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES

7. TECHNICAL SUPPORT AND WARRANTY
This product is under warranty for 2 years from the date of purchase, as long as the proof of purchase is submitted, the product is in perfect physical condition, and it has been given proper use, as explained in this instruction manual.
The warranty will not cover the following situations:
The product has been used for purposes other than those intended for it, misused, beaten, exposed to moisture, immersed in liquid or corrosive substances, as well as any other fault attributable to the customer.
The product has been disassembled, modified, or repaired by persons, not authorised by the official Technical Support Service of Cecotec.
Faults deriving from the normal wear and tear of its parts, due to use.
The warranty service covers every manufacturing defects of your appliance for 2 years, based on current legislation, except consumable parts. In the event of misuse, the warranty will not apply.
