SOMMAIRE
Read these instructions thoroughly before using the product. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Make sure that the mains voltage matches the voltage stated on the rating label of the appliance and that the wall outlet is grounded.
- Do not use the product if its structure or any of its parts is damaged or not working properly, has been dropped, or damaged.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance should not be carried out by unsupervised children.
- The minimum distance between the fan blades and the floor must be 2.3 m.
- Make sure the appliance is unplugged from the power supply before cleaning or user maintenance.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- Do not use the appliance in spaces with explosive or toxic vapours.

The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.

Never insert objects or body parts between rotating fan blades. To control the fan blades' speed, only use the means for speed control provided by Cecotec.
- To reduce the risk of injury, attach the fan directly to the support structure of the building as indicated in this manual and use only parts and components provided or recommended by Cecotec.
- Turn off the mains power by turning off the circuit breakers before installing your fan to avoid risk of electric shock.
- Do not bend the blade-attachment system during the installation or cleaning process.
- If you are mounting the fan to a joist, make sure it is strong enough to support the moving weight of the fan (at least 50 kg). If you hang the fan on a hook, it must withstand at least 100 kg.
- After installing the fan, make sure all the connections are secured.
- Turn the fan off and wait for it to stop before reversing the fan direction.
- Make sure the installation location you choose allows the fan blades to rotate without any obstructions.
- Cleaning and maintenance must be carried out according to this instruction manual to make sure the device operates properly. Turn off the device and unplug it from the main power supply before cleaning it.
- Make sure the fan is not placed close to curtains or other objects it may become entangled with.
- To ensure your children's safety, please keep all packaging materials (plastic bags, boxes, polystyrene, etc.) away from their reach.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent product damage when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If any of them are missing or not in good condition, please contact the official Cecotec Technical Service immediately.

3. ASSEMBLY
Fan installation

- Remove the product from the box.
- Mark the centre of the mounting bracket. Pass cables through the hole and use flat washers, spring washers and screws (not included) to securely fix the mounting bracket to the ceiling.
- Lift fan and slide the canopy onto the mounting bracket until it covers the base. Ensure that the base's hook fits properly in the canopy's slot.
- Introduce the remote-control receiver inside the mounting support between the bar and the sensor, as shown in Figure 2.
- Connect both plugs (male plug with female plug). Connect main cables to terminal block. Make sure all the cables are properly connected and not come out from the terminal block. This fan shall be grounded (if there is no grounding cable, contact qualified personnel).
- Install the canopy on the mountain bracket. Use two of the screws and washers to fix the fan to the ceiling. Introduce the other set of screws and washers. Tighten them and make sure the canopy is properly fixed and that the cable is not being squashed. Make sure the canopy hanger slot fits in the upper canopy guide pin.
- Assemble the blade clips by adjusting the screws, washers, and nuts.
- Install fan blades set onto the motor body and tighten using screws and spring washers.
- Install 1 E27, maximum 60 W bulb to the lamp holder (bulb NOT included). Switch power on and check if the fan and light work.
- Finally, install the glass shade on the lamp by screwing it clockwise.
4. OPERATION
Remote control operating

- Use the remote control to turn the fan on and off and to change speed.
- Point the remote at the infrared sensor to turn the fan on.
- LIGHT ON/OFF: slightly press the button to turn the light on/off.
- 1 H: ceiling fan and light will automatically turn off after 1 hour.
- 3 H: ceiling fan and light will automatically turn off after 3 hours.
- 6 H: ceiling fan and light will automatically turn off after 6 hours.
- HI: select the maximum fan speed.
- MED: select medium fan speed.
- LOW: select low fan speed.
- FAN OFF: turn fan off.
Remote control installation
Warning
Improper connection of the wires may damage the receiver.
- Connect the wires as shown on Figures 4 and 5. Place the infrared sensor always out of the trim. The signal reception conditions will depend on its location. (Fig. 6).
- After connecting the cables, insert the receiver into the fan bracket as shown on Fig. 5. and cover with the trim.
- The remote control requires 2 AAA batteries (not included), insert them properly in its compartment (Fig.7). You can install the remote-control holder on the wall by fixing it with two screws (Fig.8).

5. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

- To replace the remote control's cells, press the battery cover and slide it towards the arrow direction.
- Insert 2 x AAA cells as stated on the compartment.
- Close the compartment correctly.
Warning
- Never leave the remote control directly exposed to sun light.
- Do not try recharging the discharged batteries by heating them or with a battery charger.
- Rechargeable batteries are always specified as so.
- Do not throw batteries to fire, it could cause an explosion.
Replacing the light bulb
- Turn the device off and wait until it cools down.
- Remove the bulb by holding it firmly and turning it counterclockwise.
- Take a new bulb and put it carefully into its holder. Screw it clockwise.
- Turn the power supply on again and switch the lamp on.
Important
This fan uses 1 E27 / Max bulb. 60 W bulb (not included)
Cleaning
Clean with a soft, dry cloth. Never use scouring pads, abrasive or chemical cleaners. Do not allow condensation to come in contact with the electrical components.

7. DISPOSAL OF OLD ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC APPLIANCES
