How to connect the pedal to a computer?
Use the supplied USB cable to connect the pedal to your PC. Then launch the Edit&Share application (double-click the icon). If the device is not recognized, go to Device > Connect > Refresh to update the list.
How to edit a patch?
In the application, click on a patch to select it. To activate/deactivate an effect, click on its icon. To adjust a parameter, click and drag the slider up or down. Hold the Shift key for finer adjustment.
How to rename a patch?
Click on the patch name in the application, then enter the new name (up to 8 characters, allowed: A-Z, a-z, 0-9, space and some symbols). Confirm by clicking the STORE button.
How to copy patches from PC to the pedal?
Drag a patch from the PC zone to the User Area of the device in the application. To select multiple patches, hold Shift or Ctrl (Cmd on Mac) while clicking.
How to access online patches?
In the application, click on the ZOOM Online group. You can view and copy patches distributed by ZOOM, but they cannot be edited directly. Copy them to your PC or device first.
How to search for a patch by amp or effect?
Click on the Search tab then Amplifiers or Effects to filter by type. You can also search by artist by clicking Search by Artists.
What to do if no sound comes out of the pedal?
Check connections: guitar to INPUT, headphones to PHONE or OUTPUT. Ensure the USB cable is properly connected. Adjust the patch level with the PATCH LEVEL button in the application. Also check gain and volume settings in the effects.
How to save a modified patch?
Click the STORE button in the application, then confirm with OK. To change the destination, click the triangular arrows before confirming.
The pedal is not recognized by the computer, what to do?
Ensure your operating system is compatible (Windows or Mac). Try updating the device list via Device > Connect > Refresh. Avoid using the computer's sleep mode while using the application.
How to create a group of patches on the PC?
In the application, right-click in the PC zone and choose New Patch Group. You can then rename the group, copy patches into it, or export/import via the context menu.

Troubleshooting

  • No sound or very little sound is output.

  • Confirm that the device and PC are connected via the USB cable.

  • Properly connect the guitar to the INPUT terminal, and the headphone to the PHONE (or OUTPUT) terminal.
  • Confirm that the shielded cable you are using works normally.
    To adjust the sound volume, turn the [PATCH LEVEL] knob in Edit&Share.
  • Adjust the [Gain] parameter and [Level] parameter of the amplifiers and effectors used in Edit&Share.
  • You can use the expression pedal to adjust the sound volume of certain patches. Adjust the pedal to achieve the appropriate sound volume.
  • Adjust the master level of the device.
  • Check the device settings.

  • Noise stands out.

Lower the [Gain] parameter and [Level] parameter of amplifier heads and drive effectors used in Edit&Share.
- Check the expression pedal settings. Depending on parameters assigned for the expression pedal, extreme changes to parameters caused by operating the pedal may result in noise.
- Make sure to check your peripheral equipment. Deteriorated, broken, or dirty connector terminals on the guitar or shielded cable may result in adverse performance.

  • The USB terminal is not recognized when it is connected to the PC.
  • Confirm that the OS supports the product.
    The effector does not work.
  • Confirm that the effector is turned on (LED is lit.) Edit&Share screen.
  • Check whether the device has been bypassed.

Device does not get recognized correctly
- When the device list is improper, click the [Device]-[Connect]-[Refresh] menu to update the list.
The device does not reply to Edit&Share while editing.
- Please restart Edit&Share if you computer have turned into sleep mode. (Edit&Share does not support sleep mode. Please do not use sleep mode.)
