Frequently Asked Questions - Bolero Flux Pm 604000 A CECOTEC

How to install the Cecotec Bolero Flux Pm 604000 A hood?
Installation must be carried out by a professional. Respect safety distances (at least 65 cm above a gas hob, 50 cm for electric). Securely fix the wall bracket and connect the exhaust duct (if extraction) or install the charcoal filter for recirculation.
How to clean the grease filters?
The aluminum grease filters can be cleaned in the dishwasher (low temperature cycle) or by hand with warm soapy water. Let them dry completely before putting them back.
Is a charcoal filter necessary for the hood?
If you use the hood in recirculation mode (without external evacuation), an active charcoal filter is necessary. The Cecotec Bolero Flux Pm 604000 A model does not include one by default; it must be purchased separately.
How to replace the LED bulb?
The LED lighting is integrated and not replaceable by the user. In case of failure, contact Cecotec after-sales service for a replacement.
What is the noise level of the hood?
The noise level varies by speed: approximately 45 dB at speed 1, 55 dB at speed 2, and up to 65 dB at intensive speed. These values are measured at 1 meter.
How to set the timer?
Hold the 'stop' button for 3 seconds to activate the automatic shutdown function after 15 minutes. An indicator light flashes to confirm.
The hood does not turn on, what should I do?
Check the electrical supply (fuse or circuit breaker). Make sure the touch controls are not blocked by grease. If the problem persists, contact customer service.
What is the difference between extraction and recirculation?
In extraction mode, air is expelled outside via a duct. In recirculation mode, air passes through a charcoal filter and is then reintroduced into the room. Recirculation requires a charcoal filter and is not as effective for humidity.
How to activate the intensive speed?
Press the 'boost' button or hold the maximum speed button for 2 seconds. The intensive speed runs for 10 minutes before automatically returning to the previous speed.
Where to find spare parts for the Cecotec Bolero Flux Pm 604000 A?
Grease and charcoal filters are available on the official Cecotec website or from authorized dealers. For electronic parts, contact after-sales service.
