Before accessing connection parts, the power to all the supply circuits must be switched off.
4.1. Inventory
NB: this switch package is identical for both kits.
It comprises the following components:
- one 2-position switch, not fitted.
- one 3 m 4-conductor electrical cable to connect the convection accelerator to the switch. This length allows sufficient freedom to place the 2-position switch in the optimum location.
Electrical wire 0.75 mm 2 ; 6 cm (bridging) - The current input (3 x 0.75 mm 4 ) (220 V / 50 Hz) to the switch is not provided.
- one split fitting, to be cut in two.
4.2. Electrical connection
- Locate the live terminal on the junction box outlet using a voltage testing screwdriver. The live conductor (L) will be connected to this terminal. It must be routed via an omnipolar safety device with a contact opening distance of at least 3 mm.
- Position the connection plate as shown with the letters LA (Live) ?turned to the bottom right.
- Prepare the electrical bridge, 0.75 mm2 , length 6 cm.
-
Strip the 3 conductors on the current supply and connect them as shown (fig. 12):
-
the live conductor (L) to terminal LA.
- the neutral conductor (N) to the 1/2 split fitting.
-
the earth conductor () to the other 1/2 split fitting.
-
Then bring together the 4 conductors on the cable supplied (shortened if necessary) and connect them, respecting the colour-coding (fig. 12).
• Fix the plate in the place provided. - Place the switch housing so that it contains all the wiring by placing the split fittings in the corners and clip it onto the plate.
- Fit the 2 covers as shown and clip them to the switches.
- Switch on the power and check that it works.
