Read these instructions thoroughly before using the device. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.

- Follow all safety precautions listed below for safety reasons and to reduce the risk of injury or electric shock.

- Always make sure that the voltage matches the voltage indicated on the label.

- Never leave the appliance unattended during operation. Always unplug the device when not in use.

- Warning: some parts of this product may become very hot and cause burns. You must take special care with children and vulnerable persons.

- Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, paper, clothes, and curtains at least 1 m from all sides of the heater.

- The heater must be installed at a minimum height of 1.8 m from the floor, ceiling, roof and at a minimum distance of 1 m from both side walls.

- The heater must not be oriented with the heating element towards the ceiling. The heater must face the area to be heated.

- Children under 3 years old must stay away from the device and be supervised at all times.

- Children aged 3 years and above and under 8 years may switch the appliance on and off only when it has been placed or installed in its normal intended position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children from 3 years of age and under 8 years of age must not plug in, adjust, clean, or perform user maintenance on the appliance.

  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. 2. BEFORE USE

  • This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the device out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place. This will help you prevent damage to the device when transporting it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.

3. OPERATION

Assembly

Make sure that the heater is not lit before hanging it in a gazebo or under a balcony or roof.

  1. Make sure that hook "A" is securely attached to the heater.
  2. Attach hook "A" to a grab or hook it to a beam or post with a diameter of less than 20 mm. If the diameter of the beam or post is more than 20 mm, fix the hook "B".
  3. Plug the heater into a power socket.

NOTE

Wait until the heater has cooled down before moving it.

Remote control

  1. Press the On/Off switch; the red light will flash.
  2. Press P1 button on the remote control; the indicator light will stay on.
  3. Press P1 to switch on the heater.
  4. Press P1 button on the remote control twice.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

Attention

Regular and thorough maintenance of the infrared heater is necessary for long and efficient operation.

  • At least once a month, check that the reflector and the infrared (IR) sensor are clean.
  • The number of checks may be increased depending on the amount of dust in the environment.
  • Check if the reflector, cable, or frame are deformed while cleaning the device. In case of deformation, consult a qualified technician.
  • Check the power cord and plug while cleaning the appliance. In case of deformation, consult a qualified technician.
  • It is recommended to replace the reflector every two years to ensure efficient operation.

Regular and thorough cleaning helps your heater to function efficiently for many years.

  1. Unplug the power cord before cleaning the appliance.
  2. Take out the front grid wire through the inlets on the frame using a slotted screwdriver.
  3. The reflector and the infrared should be cleaned with a soft cloth, a soft brush or with cold or dry air. The cloth may be damp, but never too damp, and the cleaning product must not contain any chemicals.
  4. Do not use cleaning agents that could damage the reflector (cleaner, etc.).
  5. Reinsert the wire mesh using a slotted screwdriver.
