2. BEFORE USE

  • This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the device if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
  • Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.

3. OPERATION

  3. Insert the power cable into a wall socket.

  4. Slide the thermostat to the right until you hear a click. This click indicates the room temperature. If you keep sliding the thermostat to the right, the set temperature will be higher than the room temperature, so the heater will activate the heating system.
  5. Turn the power adjustment knob to the fan position ✕ so that the heater emits cold air.
  6. Turn the power adjustment knob to position "I", the heater will operate at a medium power level.
  7. Turn the power adjustment knob to position "II", the heater will operate at a high power level.

Anti-tilt sensor

  • The heater is designed to turn automatically off when tipped over. The appliance will automatically turn on once it is returned to its normal upright position.
  • Do not use the heater on thick and long pile carpets, as the heater may not work because the anti-tilt sensor is activated.

Safety system

  • In the event of abnormal overheating, the safety device automatically switches the appliance off. After a cooling phase, the device is ready for use again.
  • If you still observe the same malfunction mentioned above, disconnect the plug from the socket and contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
  • During use, do not touch or cover the air outlet. This could cause the unit to overheat and the safety device to operate.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Before cleaning or storing the appliance, make sure that it is unplugged.
  • Clean the housing with a slightly damp cloth, vacuum cleaner or dusting brush.
  • Never use flammable or abrasive cleaning agents such as benzene or alcohol to clean the appliance.
  • Clean both the air inlet and outlet regularly with a vacuum cleaner.
  • Do not immerse the heater in water or allow water to enter the appliance, as there is a risk of electric shock.
  • Allow the appliance to cool completely before cleaning or handling.
  • Before moving the appliance, make sure that the power adjustment knob is in the OFF position and the power cable is unplugged from the power outlet.

Storage

  • If the appliance is not used for a long period of time, it must be protected against excessive dust and dirt. Store in a dry place, protected from sunlight.
  • Wind up the power cable carefully once the appliance is cool.
  • Make sure that the cable does not come into contact with sharp surfaces or kinks.
  • Store the cable in a clean, dry location away from metal objects.
