How to turn on the ReadyWarm 1500 Ceramic Flames heater?

Plug in the appliance, turn the power switch to the desired position (I or II) to select the power. Use the thermostat knob to adjust the desired temperature.

Does the decorative flame effect consume additional energy?

The flame effect is purely visual and requires only a very low energy consumption for the LEDs. It does not affect the heating power.

How to clean the appliance?

Always unplug the appliance before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior surface. Never use abrasive products or immerse the appliance in water.

The heater turns off by itself, is this normal?

Yes, it's normal. The appliance has overheat protection and automatic shut-off in case of tilting. If the internal temperature becomes too high or if it tilts, it automatically turns off for safety reasons.

What is the maximum heating area?

This 1500 W heater is suitable for heating a room up to approximately 15-20 m², depending on insulation.

Can I use the heater in a bathroom?

No, this heater is not designed for use in humid rooms like the bathroom. It should be used in a dry place, away from water splashes.

How to adjust the temperature?

Turn the thermostat knob clockwise to increase the temperature. The heater will automatically stop when the ambient temperature reaches the set point.

The heater makes noise, is this normal?

A slight ventilation noise is normal during operation. If the noise becomes abnormal, check that the appliance is placed on a stable surface and that the ventilation grilles are not obstructed.

Can I use an extension cord?

2. BEFORE USE

• This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the device if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
• Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
• Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

ENGLISH

1. Off

In this mode, the heater is completely switched off. It is the safe position when you do not need heating or when the appliance is not in use.

2. Light with flame effect

In this mode, only the decorative function of the heater, which simulates the effect of a flame, is activated. This light provides a cosy atmosphere without generating heat. It is useful to create a warm and pleasant atmosphere without increasing the temperature of the room.

3. Low power mode

In this mode, the heater operates at reduced power. It uses less energy and provides a moderate amount of heat. It is ideal for slightly colder days in which a little extra warmth is needed without excessive energy consumption.

4. High power mode

In this mode, the heater operates at maximum power. It generates as much heat as possible and is ideal for quickly heating a cold room. This mode consumes more energy due to the high power used.

Temperature knob

This knob allows you to select the desired temperature within a certain range. It is located at the rear of the heater.

• Move the temperature knob to the left until the desired temperature is reached. Once it reaches the MAX position, the highest temperature level has been reached.
• Turn the temperature knob to the right or to the MIN position to switch the appliance off, then unplug the appliance.

Overheating protection

• The heater features a protection system that turns the appliance automatically off in case of overheating, for example, when the air inlet or outlet is partially or completely obstructed.
• If this happens, unplug the appliance, wait about 30 minutes for it to cool down and clean the grille.
• Then, switch it on again. The appliance should operate normally.
• If the problem persists, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.

4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it to cool down completely before cleaning.

• To avoid risk of electric shock, do not clean the appliance with water or immerse it in it.

• The housing can be cleaned with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.

• If necessary, remove dust particles accumulated on the grille with a vacuum cleaner.
• Never use flammable or abrasive cleaning agents such as benzene or alcohol to clean the appliance.
• If the appliance is not used for a long period of time, it must be protected against excessive dust and dirt. Store in a dry place, protected from sunlight and dust.
