Read these instructions thoroughly before using the appliance. Keep this instruction manual for future reference or new users.
- Make sure the voltage of your mains supply matches the voltage requirements specified in the rating label of the appliance.
- This appliance is designed for domestic use only and is not intended for bars, restaurants, farmhouses, hotels, motels, and offices.
- If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the official Cecotec Technical Support Service or similar qualified personnel to avoid risks.
- This symbol means: "do not cover".
- WARNING: to avoid overheating, do not cover the appliance.
- The heating appliance must not be placed immediately below a socket outlet.
- Do not use the heating appliance in the immediate vicinity of a bath, shower, or swimming pool.
- Do not use this heating appliance if it has been dropped.
- Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the heating appliance.
- Use this heating appliance on a horizontal and stable surface, or fix it to the wall, as applicable.
- Children under 3 years of age should be kept out of reach of the appliance unless continuously supervised.
- Children between 3 and 8 years old should only switch the appliance on or off when it has been placed or installed in its normal, intended operating position and if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children between 3 and 8 years old should not plug in, adjust, and clean the appliance and should not carry out maintenance tasks.
- CAUTION: some of the product's parts may become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention should be paid when children and/or vulnerable people are present.
- WARNING: do not use this heating device in small rooms that are occupied by people who cannot leave the room by themselves, unless permanent supervision is provided.
- WARNING: to reduce the risk of fire, keep textiles, curtains, or other flammable material at least 1 m away from the air outlet.
- Do not insert or allow objects to enter through the ventilation slots, as this may result in electric shock, fire or damage to the appliance.
- Do not immerse the cable, plug, or any other non-removable part of the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not expose the electrical connections to water. Always make sure that your hands are dry before operating or adjusting any switches on the product or touching the plug and socket.
- Never leave the device unattended during use.
- One of the most common causes of overheating is the building up of debris or fluff in the appliance. Be sure to
clean these accumulations periodically by vacuuming the vents and grilles.
- Do not place the appliance on carpets, and do not place the cable under carpets. Position the cord in such a way as to avoid obstructing passage and cause tripping hazards.
- Do not store it until it cools down. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.
- When using, maintain a minimum distance of 50 cm between the window and the wall.
- Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

2. BEFORE USE
- This appliance is packaged in a way as to protect it during transport. Take the appliance out of its box and remove all packaging materials. You can keep the original box and other packaging elements in a safe place to prevent damage to the device if you need to transport it in the future. In case the original packaging is disposed of, make sure all packaging materials are recycled accordingly.
- Make sure all parts and components are included and in good conditions. If there is any piece missing or in bad conditions, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service immediately.
- Do not remove the serial number of the appliance in order to keep a correct traceability of it in case of assistance.

3. OPERATION

ENGLISH
1. Off
In this mode, the heater is completely switched off. It is the safe position when you do not need heating or when the appliance is not in use.
2. Light with flame effect
In this mode, only the decorative function of the heater, which simulates the effect of a flame, is activated. This light provides a cosy atmosphere without generating heat. It is useful to create a warm and pleasant atmosphere without increasing the temperature of the room.
3. Low power mode
In this mode, the heater operates at reduced power. It uses less energy and provides a moderate amount of heat. It is ideal for slightly colder days in which a little extra warmth is needed without excessive energy consumption.
4. High power mode
In this mode, the heater operates at maximum power. It generates as much heat as possible and is ideal for quickly heating a cold room. This mode consumes more energy due to the high power used.
Temperature knob
This knob allows you to select the desired temperature within a certain range. It is located at the rear of the heater.
- Move the temperature knob to the left until the desired temperature is reached. Once it reaches the MAX position, the highest temperature level has been reached.
- Turn the temperature knob to the right or to the MIN position to switch the appliance off, then unplug the appliance.
Overheating protection
- The heater features a protection system that turns the appliance automatically off in case of overheating, for example, when the air inlet or outlet is partially or completely obstructed.
- If this happens, unplug the appliance, wait about 30 minutes for it to cool down and clean the grille.
- Then, switch it on again. The appliance should operate normally.
- If the problem persists, contact the official Cecotec Technical Support Service.
4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the appliance from the mains and let it to cool down completely before cleaning.

To avoid risk of electric shock, do not clean the appliance with water or immerse it in it.

The housing can be cleaned with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth.
- If necessary, remove dust particles accumulated on the grille with a vacuum cleaner.
- Never use flammable or abrasive cleaning agents such as benzene or alcohol to clean the appliance.
- If the appliance is not used for a long period of time, it must be protected against excessive dust and dirt. Store in a dry place, protected from sunlight and dust.
