Frequently Asked Questions - SP 6500 Orbegozo

How to use the remote control?
The remote control allows you to control all functions: power on, mode selection (fan, low heat, high heat), temperature adjustment, timer and weekly programming. Make sure the batteries are installed and the unit is in standby mode (displays 'S').
How to set the shut-off timer?
In operating mode, press the timer button ( or F depending on the panel). Each press increases by one hour (1 to 12 hours). The screen displays the set time for 5 seconds, then returns to the previous display.
How to program the heating for the week?
Use the remote control: press to enter programming mode. Set the day with ^DAY (d1 to d7), then the period with ^EDIT (p1 to p6). Use ^ON and TIME OFF to set the on and off times. Press ^OK to confirm. To deactivate, press again.
What to do if the appliance does not heat enough?
Check that the set temperature is higher than the ambient temperature (displayed). The heater operates in smart mode: if the difference is less than 2°C, it switches to minimum power. Increase the temperature with the + or - buttons (range 10-49°C). Make sure the appliance is not obstructed and the room is well insulated.
How to clean the heater?
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down. Use a soft damp cloth (possibly with a mild cleaning product) to wipe the exterior. Do not pour water on the appliance and do not use solvents like gasoline.
Why does the appliance turn off after 12 hours?
For safety reasons, the heater automatically turns off after 12 hours of continuous operation and switches to standby mode. You can turn it back on manually. This feature can be bypassed by setting a shorter shut-off timer.
How to activate the open window detection?
Use the remote control: in operating mode, press (detection symbol). The /°C light turns on. Set the target temperature with ✉/⊖. If the ambient temperature drops by 5 to 10°C within 10 minutes, the appliance stops after 30 minutes and goes into standby. To deactivate, press again.
How to install the appliance on the wall?
Drill two holes at 1.8 m from the floor, insert wall plugs, then screw in the screws leaving them protruding. Hang the appliance on the screws. Make sure the air outlet is directed downwards and horizontally. The appliance must be at least 1 m away from any combustible material.
What to do if the appliance does not turn on?
Check that the main switch (0/I) is set to I. Make sure the plug is properly inserted and the cord is not damaged. If the screen displays 'S', the appliance is in standby. Press F to start. If nothing happens, contact an authorized technical service.
How to set the time and day for programming?
Use the remote control: press SET to enter settings. Use ^DAY to select the day (d1 to d7) and ^+ / ^- to set the time. Confirm with ^OK. Note: if the power is cut, the settings must be redone.
