Notice d'emploi 15
The HS 2 is a condenser omni-directional headmic fitted with a steel wire cable and a special connector. It fulfils the most stringent demands on sound quality and is extremely rugged. The HS 2 is suitable for both vocal and speech applications in all areas of live work.
HS2 (anthracite): Cat. No. 05336
HS 2-1 (beige): Cat. No. 05337
Features
The frequency response curve has been optimised for close-miking. The treble response can be adapted to different requirements via accessories.
- Largely insensitive to penetration of sweat due to the patented tandem diaphragm. This design comprises two individual diaphragms installed on both sides of the diaphragm ring. The bottom diaphragm is electrically active and forms the capacitive electroacoustic transducer together with the back plate. The top diaphragm is passive and seals the microphone against sweat. Robust sealing of the housing is ensured by a silicone ring.

Adapting the treble response to different requirements
Two caps with different lengths are available as accessories. With these caps you can influence the treble response.
Slide the cap onto the microphone head until it locks into place.
Please refer to the frequency responses curves on page 38.
Short cap:
MZC2-1 Cat. No. 76612
Long cap:
MZC2-2 Cat. No. 74645

Windshields
Wind noise impairs the quality of outdoor recording and close-miking. The MZW 2 and MZW 02 windshields considerably reduce the wind noise.

Please first use the MZW 2 windshield. This windshield reduces the wind noise by approx. 20dB
You may further reduce the wind noise by 10dB by using the additional MZW 02 foam windshield.
MZW 2 and MZW 02 are available as accessories.
