START-UP GUIDE English This section explains how to use your new walkie-talkies. It is recommended to read the complete user guide for detailed instructions and safety warnings.
Take out the belt-clip from each walkie-talkie. To do so, push the belt-clip upwards while lifting the latch.
Insert 1 x 6LR61 battery (not included) in each walkie-talkie. The battery compartment is located at the back of the unit. Put back the belt-clip on each walkie-talkie.
To turn the walkie-talkies on, move the HI/LOW/OFF switch to the “HI” or “LOW” position. In “LOW” position, the volume of the walkie-talkies is low, whereas it is high when set to the “HI” position.
Press the TALK button, and talk to the other user. Release the key to listen to the other end. Note: it is recommended to use the walkie-talkies from a distance between 1.5 and 100 metres and in a flat open area.
Press the Morse key to compose Morse messages. You can refer to the Morse alphabet located at the back of the cover page. A dot (.) equals a short press of the Morse key, and a dash (-) equals a long press.

rds The Walkie-Talkies work with 2 x 9V type 6LR61 alkaline batteries (one battery per unit).
1. Using a screwdriver, open the battery compartment cover located at the
back of the unit. Make sure to remove the belt-clip first.
2. Install the 2 x 6LR61 batteries observing the polarity indicated at the bottom
of the battery compartment, and as per the diagram shown opposite.
3. Close the battery compartment and tighten the screw.
Do not use rechargeable batteries. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before being charged. Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the toy. The supply terminals are not to be short circuited. Do not throw batteries into a fire. Remove the batteries if you are not going to use the game for a long period of time. WARNING: If the unit malfunctions or receives an electrostatic shock, turn the unit off and on again. If this proves to be ineffective, remove the batteries and insert them again.
MAINTENANCE AND WARRANTY
Only use a soft, slightly damp cloth to clean the unit. Do not use detergent. Do not to expose the unit to direct sunlight or any other heat source. Do not immerse the unit in water. Do not dismantle or drop the unit. Do not try to twist or bend the unit. If the unit malfunctions, try to change the batteries first. If this proves to be ineffective, read the instruction manual again. NOTE: please keep this instruction manual, it contains important information. This product is covered by our 2-year warranty. For any claim under the warranty or after sale service, please contact your distributor and present a valid proof of purchase. Our warranty covers any manufacturing material and workmanship defect, with the exception of any deterioration arising from the non-observance of the instruction manual or from any careless action implemented on this item (such as dismantling, exposition to heat and humidity, etc.). It is recommended to keep the packaging for any further reference. Not suitable for children under 36 months old, as it contains small detachable elements which could be swallowed.
