Frequently Asked Questions - RSK-1 BESTHERM

How to clean the RSK-1 Bestherm fan?
Unplug the appliance. Use a slightly damp soft cloth to wipe the grille and blades. Never immerse the fan in water. For deep cleaning, you can remove the front grille (usually with a screwdriver) and clean the blades separately.
The fan makes an abnormal noise, what should I do?
First check that the blades are not obstructed or deformed. Make sure the fan is on a stable surface. If the noise persists, contact after-sales service. It could be a motor or bearing problem.
How to adjust the oscillation?
Horizontal oscillation is usually controlled by a push button on the housing or a pull cord. Press the Oscillation button to activate/deactivate the left-to-right movement. The rotation is about 90°.
The fan does not turn on, what should I check?
Check that the electrical outlet works and the cord is not damaged. Make sure the fan is properly plugged in. Try turning the speed knob fully. If nothing happens, the internal fuse may have blown; contact a professional.
What is the height of the RSK-1 fan?
The Bestherm RSK-1 fan is about 130 cm tall with the base. The height can be adjusted by loosening the adjustment ring on the telescopic tube.
Can I use the fan outdoors?
No, this fan is designed for indoor use only. Exposure to moisture or weather can damage the electrical components and pose a safety risk.
How to disassemble the grilles for cleaning?
Unplug the appliance. Remove the fixing screw at the bottom of the front grille, then turn the grille counterclockwise to unclip it. The rear grille is removed by unscrewing the central nut. Be careful with the blades.
Is there a remote control?
No, the RSK-1 Bestherm model does not have a remote control. Controls are manual via buttons or a knob on the motor housing.
What is the power consumption?
The maximum power is 45 W, which corresponds to about 0.045 kWh per hour at full speed. It is very economical.
Does the fan tip over easily?
The fan is designed with a wide and stable base. However, it is recommended to place it on a flat surface and not to pull the cord. In case of tipping, a safety switch automatically cuts off the power.
