How do I save a document in a user box?

Press the Box key, select the Public User Box or Private tab, then press the desired box. Next, press Store to Box and follow the on-screen instructions. You can also save directly from Copy, Fax, or Scan modes.

Can I print a document stored in a box without scanning it again?

Yes, select the document in the box, press Print and adjust the print settings (number of copies, duplex, finish) before pressing Start.

How do I send a document by e-mail from a box?

Press Route, choose E-mail Transmission, select or enter the destination, then verify the information and press Start. You can also use the address book.

What types of boxes are available?

There are public user boxes (accessible to everyone) and private (protected by password or authentication). System boxes are also predefined: Bulletin Board, Relay Transmission, Memory Reception, and Secure Document.

How do I password-protect a document?

When creating a private user box, you can set a password. For a confidential document, use the Secure Document User Box, which requires a name and password to access the document.

Can I combine several documents into a single print job?

Yes, select up to 10 documents in the box, press Combine, then set common parameters (copies, finish) and start printing.

How do I delete a document from a box?

Select the document(s) to delete from the list, then press Delete and confirm deletion. Deleted documents cannot be recovered.

Can I manage boxes from my computer?

Yes, use PageScope Box Operator (included software) to access boxes, view, print, delete, or download documents. You can also use PageScope Web Connection via an Internet browser.

What if the hard disk is not installed?

The box functions require an optional hard disk. Without it, you cannot save documents in boxes. Contact your dealer for installation.

How do I rename a document in a box?

Select the document, press Change Name, enter the new name (max 30 characters) using the touchscreen keyboard, then confirm with OK.
