PLEASE READ OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATING THIS UNIT AND RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.

- Do not expose the unit to dripping or splashing and make sure that no objects filled with liquids, such as vases, are placed on it.
- Class I appliances must be connected to the mains socket outlet with a protective-earth connection.
- The mains plug connects the device and should remain operable during use.
- To disconnect the unit from the mains, the plug should be fully disconnected from the mains socket outlet. The mains plug should not be obstructed and should be easily accessible during use.
- When a power indicator light is on, it indicates the unit is connected to the mains supply. When the light is off, it indicates the unit is fully disconnected from the mains supply.
CAUTION
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced.
Replace battery only with the same or equivalent type.

REMOTE CONTROL UNIT
- Remove the battery cover from the back of the remote control.
- Insert 2 AAA batteries. Check the polarity (+ and – at ends of the battery) and follow the instructions on the diagram near the battery compartment. Close the compartment door.
NOTE: Please make sure you properly dispose of batteries (see your local regulations).
- Replace the battery cover.

BATTERY REPLACEMENT
When the battery runs low, the distance at which the remote control will operate is greatly reduced and you will need to replace the battery.
- To use the remote control unit, point it at the IR sensor (10) and press the button gently but firmly. Since the remote control range is reduced when the unit is used at an angle, try to aim it directly at the remote sensor.
- Do not expose the remote sensor to strong light (direct sunshine or artificial light) and make sure that there are no obstacles between the remote sensor and the remote control.
SPEAKER
Connect a pair of speakers to the unit via the SPEAKER output L, R sockets (16) on the rear panel.
POWER SOURCE
This unit is designed to operate on a normal 230V ~ 50Hz household power supply. Do not attempt to operate the system using other power sources. This may result in damage to the unit and void your warranty.
OPERATING THE RADIO
A) Auto scan
- Press the Power button to turn the unit on.
- Set the function button to the TUNER position.
- Press the FM Scan [7] button on the remote control to start the AUTO SCAN function and automatically search for radio stations for 3 minutes. The screen displays the digits and station numbers. Once complete, the unit will store a maximum of 30 preset stations.
- Press FOLDER +/- [4, 14] on the remote control to select the desired station.
B) Tuning
- Press the Power button to turn the unit on.
- Set the function button to the TUNER position.
- Press the ◀◀◀ SKIP button for 3 seconds to automatically tune in to the next station.
- Adjust the volume to the desired level.
- Press the Power button to turn the radio off.
C) Storing stations in memory positions P01 to P30
- Set the function button to the TUNER position.
- Press the ◀ SKIP button to automatically tune in to the next station.
- Press the MEMORY [16] button on the remote control. The current position number will flash on the display, e.g., P01, P02, P30, etc.
- Press Preset +/- (Folder +/-) [4, 14] on the remote control to select the station number. The selected station number will flash.
- Press the MEMORY button again to save. Up to 30 radio stations can be stored in the memory.
- Press the Preset +/- (Folder +/-) [4, 14] buttons on the remote control to select and listen to a saved station.
Antenna
Extend the wire to obtain the best reception. You may need to turn or change the position of the unit to improve reception.
SETTING THE CLOCK
- Press the Power button to turn off the unit and go to standby mode.
- Press and hold the Clock Set [20] button on the remote control for 3 seconds. Press SKIP to select the time format (12 hrs or 24 hrs) and press Clock Set [20] again to confirm.
- The hour will blink. Press SKIP to set the hour.
- Press the Clock Set [20] button again: the minutes will blink. Press SKIP to set the minutes. Press the CLOCK SET button to finish setting the time.
- Press the Power button to turn on the unit.
- Set the function button to the CD or USB position.
- Insert a compact disc or USB flash drive into the USB playback slot (14) on the rear panel; "CD" or "USB" will be displayed.
PLAY/PAUSE button
- When music is stopped, press ▶ to play the music.
- When music is playing, press ▶ to pause.
- When music is paused, press ▶ to resume play.
■ STOP button
- When music is playing or paused, press ■ to stop.
- When in programming tracks, press ■ to exit the mode.
SKIP FORWARD
- When music is stopped, press ▶ to select the track you want to play (and go to the first track if currently on the last track).
- When music is playing, press ▶ to skip to the next track (and go to the first track if currently playing the last track).
- Press ▶ and hold for 2 seconds to fast-forward.
- When playing programmed tracks, press ▶ to skip to the next programmed track (and go to the first track if currently playing the last track).
SKIP BACK
- When music is stopped, press ◀ to select the track you want to play (and go to the last track if currently on the first track).
- When music is playing, press ◀ to skip to the previous track (and go to the last track if currently playing the first track).
- Press and hold for 2 seconds to rewind.
- When playing programmed tracks, press ◀ to skip to the previous programmed track (and go to the last track if currently playing the first track).
+10 button on the remote control
Press the +10 button to skip 10 tracks. Once selected, the music will play automatically.
REPEAT Play in CD or USB mode
- Press the Repeat button [8] on the remote control to switch modes: Repeat One, Repeat Folder (FLD) or Repeat All.
- In Repeat One mode, the player repeats the current CD track.
- In Repeat Folder mode, the player repeats the whole folder.
- In Repeat All mode, the player repeats all tracks on the CD; when it reaches the end of the last track, it will return to the first track.
- Press Repeat [8] again and select OFF to turn off the function.
RANDOM Play in CD or USB
- Press the Random [9] button on the remote control.
- Press SKIP FORWARD / BACK or ▶. The tracks will be played randomly.
- To turn off Random Play, press RANDOM again.
FOLDER +/-
- In USB mode, press FOLDER +/- on the remote control [4, 14]. The album no. will change.
- Press SKIP FORWARD / BACK to select the track no.
- When the desired track is selected, the music will play automatically.
Bluetooth
Bluetooth pairing
- Before starting the pairing process, press FUNCTION to select BT (Bluetooth).
- Press the Bluetooth pair button [6] on the remote control until BT (Bluetooth) flashes.
- Activate the Bluetooth function on your mobile phone. Search for the code MIC301BT and then start pairing.
PROGRAMMING CD, CD/MP3 & USB PLAY
You can only enter programs in STOP mode. Press the STOP button and then follow the instructions below.
- Press the Program button [18] on the remote control. The LCD displays "001PR 01". "001" (track number on CD or USB), "PR" (Program function) and "01" (program number). The program number flashes.
- Press the SKIP buttons to choose the track number you wish to program.
- Press the Program [18] button to save and confirm. The unit goes to the next program number you wish to store. Repeat the steps to save other track numbers.
- The unit can store a maximum of 30 CD programs and 99 CD/MP3, USB programs. After it has stored the maximum number of programs, no more entries can be made.
- If you press the ■ STOP button while programming the unit, the unit clears the programmed content and returns to STOP mode.
- If you press the ▶I PLAY/PAUSE button when the unit has been programmed, "Program" is displayed and the unit starts playing the programmed tracks.
- If you press the SKIP or buttons when playing programmed tracks, the unit skips to the previous or next programmed track.
- If you press the ■ STOP button when playing programmed tracks, the unit stops playing but programmed track selection is kept. Press the ■ STOP button again to clear the programmed content and return to STOP mode.
Note: the unit can only read FAT32 format USB drives with less than 32 GB.
AUDIO IN Via MP3 PLAYER & SMARTPHONE
- Press the Power button to turn on the unit.
- Set the Function button to Audio In.
- Using a 3.5mm jack lead, connect one end to the headphone socket on the MP3 player / smartphone and the other side to the Aux-In jack (17) on this unit.
- Operate your MP3 player / smartphone as directed by the manufacturer.
USB CHARGER: 5V =1A
- In CD / USB / BT / Audio In mode, the user can connect the USB cable (not included) to a mobile phone, and use it as a phone charger.
- In Standby mode / Tuner mode, the charger has no function. Do not charge the battery in these modes.
WARNING: INSERTING THE USB CABLE INTO THE WRONG SOCKET WILL RESULT IN A SHORT-CIRCUIT.
For the USB charger, the user needs to insert the cable into the USB CHARGER Slot (15) ONLY. Do not connect it to the wrong USB PLAYBACK Slot (14).

EQ (EQUALIZER)
- Press the EQ [11] button on the remote control to select the music format Rock / Pop / Classic / Jazz.
- Press EQ again to turn off the function.
MUTE
Press the MUTE button and there will be no sound.
Press MUTE again to turn off the function.
HEADPHONE
You can plug stereo headphones (not included) equipped with a 3.5 mm jack and impedance of 8 ohms or greater into the unit's headphone jack (9). When using headphones, the speakers are automatically disconnected.

WARNING: USING HEADPHONES AND HEARING IMPAIRMENT
- Set a low volume on the playback device before connecting the headphones to the sound source.
- Avoid excessive volume, particularly over extended periods or frequent use. Excessive volume can result in permanent hearing impairment.

Note:
When there is no sound output for about 30 minutes in CD, USB, Bluetooth or AUX mode, the unit will automatically switch to standby mode to save energy. It can be turned on again using the AUDIO IN / CD / USB / TUNER / Bluetooth Function button.
