How to install the driver for the A-500PRO on Windows 7?

Insert the supplied CD-ROM, open the Driver folder then Win7, double-click Setup. Follow the instructions. Connect the device only when prompted.

Can I use the A-500PRO without an AC adapter?

Yes, the device can be powered via USB bus when connected to a computer. Set the POWER switch to USB. If power is insufficient, use the separately sold AC adapter.

How to assign a MIDI message to a controller?

Enter Edit mode by pressing [ACT] and [→] simultaneously. Select the desired controller, then use the [VALUE] button to choose the message type and set the values.

What to do if the keyboard produces no sound?

The A-500PRO has no built-in sound generator. Check that it is properly connected to software or a MIDI module set to the same MIDI channel. Make sure the driver is installed and the MIDI device is selected in your software.

How to use the DUAL function to layer two sounds?

Press the [DUAL] button in Play mode. The keyboard then transmits on two separate MIDI channels (UPPER and LOWER). Select sounds via Program Change for each part.
