How to use the Hamilton Beach OpenStation 76389R can opener?

Place the can against the guide, lower the lever to engage the cutting blade, then press the start button. The appliance opens the can automatically and stops once the lid is held by the magnet.

What types of cans can it open?

It opens standard cans, round or square shaped, up to 25 cm in height. Also suitable for large juice or fruit cans.

How to clean the can opener?

Unplug the appliance. Remove the cutting lever by pulling it upwards. Wash it in the dishwasher or with soapy water. Wipe the body of the appliance with a damp cloth.

Does the lid remain magnetized after opening?

Yes, the built-in magnet holds the lid after cutting, allowing you to remove it easily without touching the sharp edges.

Can I open rimless cans?

No, this can opener is designed for cans with a traditional rim. It cannot open easy-open cans or rimless cans.

What to do if the appliance does not stop automatically?

Check that the can is properly positioned and the cutting lever is fully engaged. If the problem persists, unplug the appliance and contact customer service.

Is the can opener safe for children?

The appliance has automatic stop and a non-slip base, but it should not be used by children without supervision. The blades are sharp.

• The motor will automatically stop when can is open.
- It is not necessary to hold lever down or hold can while can is being opened.
- If there is a bump, dent, or heavy seam in the rim of the can, open other end of can or start cutter just beyond it.
• The motor of the can opener is permanently lubricated and will require no oiling.
