* Careful: the temperature measuring equipment is optimized to measure the room temperature while the product is functioning, is heating the air and is positioned on the floor. Depending on the product's positioning and on the presence of other objects/furniture:

- when the product is turned off, the display may show a slightly higher temperature. This is not a fault and the temperature sensor reading will soon correct itself.

- the display may show a higher temperature than the actual room temperature if the product is wall mounted, due to the overheated air present between the product and the wall;

- the display may show a lower temperature than the actual room temperature if the product is switched off or if the cold air function is in operation, due to the absence of a flow of hot air on the basis of which the system is optimized.

Laboratory tests confirm that the selected parameters ensure the utmost user comfort.

By pressing the + - power button, it is possible to select the power. See the power selection section for further information.
In manual mode, the functioning of the heater depends on the "power" setting defined by the user and the temperature desired (* - 1 + 6) (of course the heater only works if the desired temp is higher than the room temp!). The cold air function is INDEPENDENT of the thermostat setting.
☐ If the product is in operation, by pressing this button the heater switches off. The "Off" sign appears in the LCD.

☐ If the product is not disconnected or tampered with by the user, the programs will be repeated for an indefinite period of time every day of the week.

☐ All programs need the time to be set, therefore they will not operate if the clock is flashing (see the TIME button description for further information).

In order to simplify the programming procedure, an initial preset program has been memorized with the following parameters:

Starting time: 06:30 Duration: 30 minutes Power setting: Auto mode Desired temperature: 23°C

NOTE: When changed, the new values will become the default values until the product is disconnected or switched off using the general switch. The preset program is automatically activated by pressing the timer button ONCE and waiting 5 seconds until the word "Set" disappears from the display.

7. Safety in the event of the product not functioning normally

☐ In the event of overheating, the safety system will automatically turn off the heating elements and the motor. If this happens:

- switch off the fan heater using the main switch;

- remove the cause of overheating (i.e. obstacles in front of the air inlet or air outlet grilles, unusual accumulations of dirt, etc);

- let the heater cool down for 15/20 minutes;

- switch on the fan heater and check it is functioning properly.

In the event of overheating, the display will keep showing the symbol of the power that would have been in use in normal conditions. This is not a fault. Simply proceed as described above to solve the problem.

8. Maintenance

☐ This heater does not require any particular maintenance.

☐ We recommend you clean the air inlet and air outlet grilles at least twice a year with a vacuum cleaner, to remove dust from the motor and the heating elements.

☐ If the heater needs to be repaired, please contact an authorized center.

☐ If the cable is to be changed, please remember that a 2 × 1 m2 H05VV-F cable must be used.

9. F.a.q.

Q: If I use the main switch will I maintain the set timer programs?

A: No. When you disconnect the product, electronic circuits are no longer supplied and memory is erased.

Q: Why does the indicated room temperature sometimes change after the product is switched on / off? R: Because the thermostat is very sensitive, to ensure better performance.

Q: Why does the display show *—* instead of the room temperature?

A: Because the temperature is higher than 39irc C or lower than 5irc C.

Q: Is the appliance working properly if the thermostat doesn't operate when the power mode is on "Cold air"?

A: Yes, it is. In heating appliances, the ventilation mode is not expected to be under the thermostat's control.

Q: The display shows the "err" message. What does it mean?

A: The temperature sensor is broken. Contact your dealer or a qualified technical assistance centre.

Q: In timer mode, the led blinks but the product doesn't works. Why?

A: Because you are inside the program period, but the desired temperature has already been reached. The product will turn on again if the room temperature falls below the value set.

Q: Why am I not able to activate the timer function after all the parameters have been set (the manual mode led turns on instead)?

A: Check that the power setting for the A and B programs are not both set to "Off".
