Your 549005/549006 KooZzzi electric underblanket has been designed for soothing and relaxing your body. The underblanket is equipped with a thermal protection system that regulates the heat and prevents the underblanket from becoming too hot. The underblanket is suitable for indoor use only. The underblanket is suitable for domestic use only. The 549005 underblanket is a single blanket suitable for use on a single bed. The 549005 underblanket is equipped with one electronic control unit which controls the temperature of the blanket.

The 549006 underblanket is a double blanket suitable for use on a double bed. The 549006 underblanket is equipped with two electronic control units which both control the temperature of one half of the blanket.

Initial use

Before you proceed, we need you to pay attention to the following notes:

- Make sure that there is sufficient space around the underblanket to allow heat to escape and provide sufficient ventilation.

Clean the underblanket. Refer to the section "Cleaning and maintenance".

Note: If you switch on the underblanket for the first time, it may emit a characteristic smell for a short period. This is normal operation.

Before you proceed, we need you to pay attention to the following notes:

• The underblanket should not be used on an adjustable bed. If the underblanket is used on an adjustable bed, make sure that the underblanket and the mains cable do not become trapped or rucked (e.g. in hinges).
• Do not use the underblanket with a higher temperature than required.
• Do not leave the underblanket unattended during use.

Put the straps (6) of the underblanket (4) around the mattress.

Insert the mains plug into the wall socket. • Make sure that the electronic control unit • (1) is connected to the underblanket (4).

Set the heat control switch (2) to position • '3'. The underblanket (4) starts to heat up.

The temperature setting is shown on the display (3).

Note: Regularly check the temperature of the underblanket on the back of your hand. If the temperature feels warm on your hand, it might well be too hot for the surface of your skin.

Wait for approximately 15 minutes until the underblanket (4) has reached the set temperature.

Set the heat control switch (2) to the required position:

• Set the heat control switch (2) to position '1' for a low temperature. The temperature setting is shown on the display (3).
• Set the heat control switch (2) to position '2' for a medium temperature. The temperature setting is shown on the display (3).
• Set the heat control switch (2) to position '3' for a high temperature. The temperature setting is shown on the display (3).

If the temperature becomes too high, set a lower temperature using the heat control switch (2).

To switch off the underblanket, set the heat control switch (2) to position '0'.

Note: The underblanket switches off automatically after approximately 3 hours.

To switch on the underblanket again, set the heat control switch to position '0', wait for 5 seconds and set the heat control switch back to the required position.

After use, switch off the underblanket, remove the mains plug from the wall socket and wait until the underblanket has cooled down.

Cleaning and maintenance (fig. A)

Before you proceed, we need you to pay attention to the following notes:

• Before cleaning or maintenance, switch off the underblanket, remove the mains plug from the wall socket and wait until the underblanket has cooled down.
• Do not immerse the electronic control unit in water or any other liquids.

Before you proceed, we would like you to focus your attention on the following notes:

- Do not wash the underblanket in the washing machine. Do not dry the underblanket in the tumble dryer.

- Do not clean the electronic control unit.

- Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the underblanket.

- Do not use bleach to clean the underblanket.

- Do not iron the underblanket.

Press the release button (5) to disconnect the electronic control unit (1) from the underblanket (4). Wash the underblanket (4) by hand (max. 30 °C). Allow the underblanket (4) to dry naturally. Connect the electronic control unit (1) to the underblanket (4).

After cleaning, put the underblanket with the electronic control unit in the original packaging.

Store the packaging in a dry and frost-free • place, out of the reach of children.
