Your 549013 KooZzzi electric belt has been designed for soothing and relaxing your body. The belt is equipped with a thermal protection system that regulates the heat and prevents the belt from becoming too hot. The belt is suitable for indoor use only. The belt is suitable for domestic use only.

Initial use
Before you proceed, we need you to pay attention to the following notes:
- Make sure that there is sufficient space around the belt to allow heat to escape and provide sufficient ventilation.
Clean the belt. Refer to the section • "Cleaning and maintenance".
Note: If you switch on the belt for the first time, it may emit a characteristic smell for a short period. This is normal operation.
Use
Before you proceed, we need you to pay attention to the following notes:
- Before inserting the mains plug into the wall socket, always set the heat control switch to position '0'.
- Do not use the belt with a higher temperature than required.
- Do not leave the belt unattended during use.
Put the belt (4) around the waist. Tighten • the belt (4) by fastening the Velcro strap (5). Insert the mains plug into the wall socket.
Set the heat control switch (2) to position • '3'. The belt (4) starts to heat up.
The temperature setting is shown on the display (3).
Note: Regularly check the temperature of the belt on the back of your hand. If the temperature feels warm on your hand, it might well be too hot for the surface of your skin.
Wait for approximately 15 minutes until the belt (4) has reached the set temperature.
Set the heat control switch (2) to the required position:
- Set the heat control switch (2) to position '1' for a low temperature. The temperature setting is shown on the display (3).
- Set the heat control switch (2) to position '2' for a medium temperature. The temperature setting is shown on the display (3).
- Set the heat control switch (2) to position '3' for a high temperature. The temperature setting is shown on the display (3).
If the temperature becomes too high, set a lower temperature using the heat control switch (2).
To switch off the belt, set the heat control • switch (2) to position '0'.
Note: The belt switches off automatically after approximately 90 minutes. To switch on the belt again, set the heat control switch to position '0', wait for 5 seconds and set the heat control switch back to the required position.
After use, switch off the belt, remove the • mains plug from the wall socket and wait until the belt has cooled down.
Cleaning and maintenance (fig. A)
Before you proceed, we need you to pay attention to the following notes:
- Before cleaning or maintenance, switch off the belt, remove the mains plug from the wall socket and wait until the belt has cooled down.
- Do not immerse the belt or the electronic control unit in water or any other liquids.

Do not wash the belt in the washing machine. Do not dry the belt in the tumble dryer.

Do not clean the electronic control unit.
- Do not use aggressive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the belt.
- Do not use bleach to clean the belt.
- Do not iron the belt.
Disconnect the electronic control unit (1) • from the belt (4). Wash the belt (4) by hand (max. 30 °C). Allow the belt (4) to dry naturally. Connect the electronic control unit (1) to the belt (4).
After cleaning, put the belt with the electronic control unit in the original packaging.
Store the packaging in a dry and frost-free • place, out of the reach of children.

Do not immerse the electronic control unit in water or other liquids. If the electronic control unit is immersed in water or other liquids, do not remove it with your hands. Immediately remove the mains plug from the wall socket. If the electronic control unit is immersed in water or other liquids, do not use it again.
Electrical safety
Before use, always check that the mains voltage is the same as the voltage on the rating plate of the appliance.
The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
Make sure that water cannot enter the contact plugs of the mains cable.
Always fully unwind the mains cable.

Only use the belt with the supplied electronic control unit.
Only use the belt when it is unfolded.
Do not use the belt when it is folded, crumpled or otherwise deformed.
Do not use the belt if it is wet.
Do not insert foreign objects into the belt.
Do not puncture the belt with sharp objects.
Do not place large or heavy objects on the belt or on the electronic control unit.
Do not leave the belt unattended when the mains plug is connected to the mains.
Regularly check the belt for signs of wear or damage. If the belt shows signs of wear or damage or if it has been misused, return it to the supplier before further use.
Before storing the belt, allow it to cool • down completely. Store the belt in the original packaging when not in use. Store the belt in a dry and frost-free place, out of the reach of children.
U.K. Wiring instructions
The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with the following code:
BLUE NEUTRAL
BROWN LIVE
As the colours of the wire in the mains lead of this appliance may not correspond with the colour markings identifying the terminals on your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N or coloured black.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured red.
If a 13Amp (BS1363) plug is used, a 13Amp (BS1362) fuse must be fitted, or if any other type of plug is used, a 13Amp fuse must be fitted, either in the plug or adaptor, or on the distribution board.
This is a double-insulated appliance and does not need an earth connection.
Warning! On no account should either the live or neutral wires be connected to the earth terminal.
