Operating lever (for automatic stopping) (12) – press the lever towards the handle when starting. Release the lever to switch the engine off.
Drive lever (13) - used when you want the mower to be moving forward.

Sammeln – collecting
Mähen - cutting
Auswerfen - ejecting
Cutting and mulching
With the mulching wedge being inserted, grass is not ejected but it is ground by the cutting knives and the grass remains on the lawn as surface fertilisation (side ejection must be closed).
Cutting and collecting
The grass is collected to the grass catcher (catcher capacity is reduced if the grass is damp or wet). To mount the catcher to the mower, lift the cover plate and fit the grass catcher.
Cutting (without grass catcher)
The cut grass is laid in strips.
Cutting (side ejection)
The cut grass is laid in strips. Lift the side flap and fit the side ejection hooks to the side flap axis. Then, let the side flap down and make sure the side ejection is fitted properly.
Changeover to "mulching"

Assembly and disassembly of accessories must always be placed when the engine is off.
Assembly
Insert the mulching wedge to the ejection channel and lock it in a way so that it is secured by the self-securing hook.
Please make sure the mulching wedge is fitted tightly after the changeover.
Caution!!! Original equipment of the manufacturer to be used only.
Disassembly
Press with thumb in the middle and release the mulching wedge.
Caution!!!
If the mower is blocked during mulching reduce the travelling speed so that the knife could continue in grinding the grass and spread it on the lawn. Never remove the gathered grass with your hands.
Drive control
The self-propelling travel is controlled as follows:
Press the operating lever (automatic stopping lever) (12) towards the handle and at the same time, press the drive lever towards the handle (13).
The forward movement is stopped by releasing the drive lever (13).
Cutting height adjustment
Depending on the required cutting height, it is necessary to adjust the height of wheels. Adjust the height with the lever (8) as you wish. The middle position is most suitable for most mowers.
Adding oil before starting
IMPORTANT
The oil level needs to be checked every time you are to use the appliance. Fill up oil to the oil gauge as needed.
Refuelling (unleaded)
Fuel is added through the fuel-filler spout. Make sure not to spill the petrol. Use common, clean unleaded petrol. Do not mix petrol with oil. Reasonable volume of petrol should always be bought so that it is consumed within 30 days.

WARNING: Wipe any spilled oil or petrol. Do not re, pour, use near open fire.

WARNING: Alcohol-enriched fuels (gasohol) or fuels with l alcohol or methanol mixtures may attract humidity and sequent acid formation. As a result of long storage, clean rol may damage the engine fuel system. If you want to prevent engine problems you should empty the fuel system before storing longer than 30 days. Empty the fuel tank, start engine and let it run until the fuel system and carburettor empty. Add fresh fuel each season. See the storing ructions, too. Never add cleaners to the fuel tank to clean engine or carburettor. By doing so, you could cause separable engine damage.
Engine starting

text_image
1 12 Engine starting pic.To start the appliance, first make sure the spark plug is in place and there is sufficient amount of oil and petrol in the appliance.
CAUTION: The engine may smoke when started for the first time, which is caused by the protective oil film on the inner engine surface. Consider that as a normal situation.
- Choke lever on panel on

- Press the operating lever (automatic switch-off lever) (12) to the extension handle (1).
3.
With the operating lever (automatic switch-off lever) (12) pulled in, slowly pull out the starting cord (10) until you feel slight resistance and then pull in the starter until the engine is started.
CAUTION: In cold weather or when the machine has not been used for a long time it may be necessary to repeat the first steps for several times.
Stopping the engine
If you want to stop the engine, release the operating lever (automatic switch-off lever) (12).
WARNING! The knife still rotates for a few seconds after the engine is switched off. If you want to leave the mower laying unattended then disconnect the spark plug cap.
Important tips and advice for grass cutting!!!
Under certain conditions, e.g. when the grass is very high, it may be necessary to set a bigger cutting height so that effort for pushing the mower is reduced, engine overloading removed and blocking of grass in the mower prevented. It is possible that you will also have to reduce the mower travel speed and/or cut the area again.
Vent ports in the grass catcher may get blocked if the catcher is not cleaned regularly. Clean the grass catcher regularly with water and let it dry before use.
Keep the upper part of the engine at the starter clean. Air flow will be improved.
Cut in dry weather only.
Keep the knives sharp at all times.
Maintenance
Original spare parts are supplied by the customer service centre and dealers. An authorised service centre is recommended to be entitled to provide yearly maintenance and check of safety elements. For maintenance and spare parts, please contact your dealer.
IMPORTANT – Regular maintenance is necessary for constant operational reliability and keeping the original appliance output at the same level. Keep all screws and nuts tightened so that you are sure the appliance is in an operation-reliable condition. Regular maintenance is necessary for safety and trouble-free operation.
Never store the appliance with fuel in closed rooms as the evaporating fuel may ignite.
It is necessary to let the appliance cool down and empty the fuel before storing in closed rooms.
To minimise the risk of fire, keep the engine and muffler and the fuel tank clean and with no grass, leaves and fats. Do not store the grass cut with the mower.
For safety reasons, avoid using an appliance with a worn or damaged parts. Replace any faulty parts with new ones, do not repair them. Use original spare parts and original spare knives only.
Parts with quality different from the specified quality may damage the appliance and put you at risk.
If it is necessary to empty the fuel tank, do so outside with the engine being cold.
Wear solid protective gloves when assembling and adjusting the knives.
Check the correct direction of rotating and balance of knives after they are sharpened.
Check regularly the wear and pollution of the self-closing cover and grass catcher.
When transporting the appliance is necessary, carry it in hands or incline it and wear safety gloves at all times.
At all times, hold the appliance where safe holding may be guaranteed. Consider the weight and distribution of the appliance.
Cleaning
Clean the appliance with water, remove the grass and mud from inside every time the appliance is to be used – it will prevent dirt from becoming dry and problems when started the next time. Painting inside the housing may wear down in course of time. To prevent later corrosion of the appliance, use anti-corrosive paint for the worn-down spots.
Once or twice a year, remove the gearbox cover and clean the space around belt pulleys and drive belts with a brush or compressed air.
Once per season, you should clean the inside of the drive wheels. Disassemble both wheels. Clean the cog wheels and their edges off the grass and other dirt with compressed air or a brush.
Knife disassembly
For purposes of cleaning/sharpening/change Caution!!! It is necessary to disconnect the spark plug before disassembling.
Release the screw when disassembling the knives.
Re-assemble according to the picture. Tighten the screws. Torsion moment of 40 Nm. You should also replace the screw when replacing the knives.
